Latex Ladyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15218238153038374229noreply@blogger.comBlogger172125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9649129.post-9641361286053318472014-09-21T18:45:00.000-07:002014-09-21T18:45:02.965-07:00Changes, ChangesWell, dear readers, my life has drastically changed.

Sir has been stricken with illness and paralysis. We are coming to terms with an emerging normal which will certainly not involve as much of our preferred lifestyle and material and dress.

Early this month Sir suddenly had a backache which evolved, over the course of a few hours, into paralysis below the waist. This is from a tumor pressing on his spine.

I have spent much of the following time thinking about things and what to do, how to cope, how to progress.

One thing I believe we will have to do is to see how much of what I do can become entrepreneurial, how can I contribute to the financial stability of our life. I have not had to do much of that, and I retired well, but this will impact Sir for monthsor years until he can adjust and I must think ahead and to some degree for him.

Any ideas from my reader base would be appreciated.

I love my lifestyle of submission. Being pro active about our latex - centric BDSM life is fun and fascinating. I have never thought of it in a financial sense...now I wonder if there is a serious market for rubber-centered erotic writing...I could do that.

I still want to bring the joy of rubber bdsm to my readers. I want to educate, inspire, explore, reassure, and encourage readers. I believe I may transform a lot of my writing time to this, to publishable books and stories.

Look for more, but not right away. I am busy working into a new normal.

regards
The past week or so has been quite warm and sunny, however. The tornadic weather front passed us by and we have had little rain in the past couple weeks.

All of which made our Easter visit with friends from out of the country quite pleasant. I have written before of Kermit and Annemarie who visit from time to time. They have been living in Austria for a while now but came over for Easter and invited us to their new house here in the US near Paris, Texas, about 2 hours by car Northeast of us. We left on Good Friday morning and returned Easer Monday night giving us a very long four day weekend to spend with our friends.

Paris is a pretty little city and their new home is outside the ring road, near a lake. They have purchased a farm house on several acres of land in what are known as the Piney Woods. They are quite isolated and the house is huge, even by Texas standards, with one of the few cellars in Texas.

The upper house is two story plus a bit of a tower/widow's walk attached to the master suite. There is actually a lift extending from the tower to the cellar with stops at the master suite, the ground floor, and the cellar. The original owner was elderly and had difficulty with stairs. Add to that the house is actually on a hill overlooking its own property with a view of the nearby lake as well from the upper floor and the tower balcony. It is placed on the highest point in the surrounding area (which, in Texas means that it is at an elevation of about 600 ft (183 m) above sea level. Our house near Dallas is at the same elevation).

There are nine bedrooms, five on the ground floor and four on the second, each with an en suite bath. The master suite actually has three separate rooms in it, a bedroom, a dressing room and a waiting room or parlor, plus its own en suite.

There are two dining rooms, two living rooms a large kitchen, walk-in pantry, stair to the cellar, and a smaller kitchen on the upper floor, and three powder baths for visitors. The place is an absolute palace of rooms.

The back garden includes a patio that runs the whole length of the house with a large rectangular swimming pool running alongside it. The rear, which faces North, not South, is lined with windows so people in the house can view the pool and swimmers easily. The house cradles the pool on two sides.

The widow's walk goes almost completely around the tower and offers stunning views of the garden and the whole property which is surrounded by old pine and oak trees. From the road the house cannot even be seen, but from the house one can see quite a ways.

Kermit and Annemarie are turning it into a fetishist's dream home. They only plan on occupying it in the Spring or Fall each year when the weather here is at its most comfortable. But they have started to think of it as a fetish B&B in the future. Since they only occupy two of the bedrooms and plan on using some of the living spaces as fetish dungeons (not to mention the cellar) the remaining 7 bedrooms could be rented out.

I say they occupy two of the bedrooms since they still have and travel with Laurel, their live in rubber maid. She was present too when we arrived although Sir and I did not see her for the first half hour of our visit. It was only when we were shown the cellar by K&A that we found Laurel. She was in a very tight, hobbling black and white maid's costume, more English than French with ankle length skirt, strict corset, long sleeved blouse with black gloves up to her elbows and a rigid neck corset and silencing hood. She was bound to a steel bondage cross in the cellar.

K&A have kept a part of the cellar, at the foot of the stairs from the kitchen, as a wine cellar with two floor to ceiling racks of wines from all over he world. But the rest of the cellar, which is essentially the same size as the ground floor, is being transformed into a dungeon specifically reflecting their dominant rubber-centric predilections for fetish play. Very modern and crisp with lots of steel, latex, black, white and red furniture, slick tables, medical gear, mirrors, bondage poles and slings. The cellar looks like a high tech nightclub of the damned. Absolutely beautiful. Kermit secured a few medical operating room lights which he used for detailed illumination. The rest of the space was lit by indirect lighting, very brightly in some places and less so in others.

The dungeon is divided into separate play areas based around themes. The medical fetish section, the isolation section, inflation and suspension section, etc. In each these K&A have started setting up equipment, storage, displays, and accessories for their play. I knew their collection of toys was extensive and Sir and I have been to their European home which is kitted out in the same style, but we never knew they had such extensive amounts of gear, furniture and equipment.

There is a small section of the room divided away and given over to more traditional, wood, leather, and medieval decor, but 90% of the space is high tech heavy rubber. And the elevator opens right in the middle of it all. The stainless steel doors are in the center of a long wall which is, I believe, one of the outside walls. It is an hydraulic lift and hence, very slow as it rises to the top floor, the tower walkway. The cab is not overly large but enough that the four of us fit comfortably, me in my flowing burqa, Annemarie in a Victorian gown of shiny black rubber and Sir and Kermit in heavy rubber catsuits with tubes, masks, and Kermit even wearing an aroma bag on his back.

We had arrived mid-morning (Sir tortured me into getting up and being on the road early so as not to miss much time with our friends) and K&A had met us at the door already fully kitted out. She was in a gorgeous Victorian style dress of black rubber, swirling full skirt, and very tight blouse with a ruffle around her neck from which a matching black hood rose to cove her face and head. Not a single square inch of skin showed, only her eyes and lips. Kermit was in a full enclosure heavy rubber suit with his breathing equipment passing from the aroma bag to the front of his hood and a tight catsuit of black rubber covering the rest of him from head to toe. They looked stunning but we were a bit surprised as we arrived around 10 in the morning. Kermit later explained they had been dressed since 7am!

I was in two catsuits, a dress, and my burqa, as usual. The catsuits were my usual skin suit in blue tinted transparent rubber under a second suit in nightshade blue and those were under a long, hobbling dress in the same nightshade blue. Then came my metallic blue burqa. I wore black 5 inch spike heeled knee boots and was silenced by the burqa's internal hood. Sir was in his alien suit and was only missing the elaborate helmet that goes over it. Kermit helped him put that on and zip it tight to his head as soon as we arrived.

The way they have laid out the cellar the lift doors open and you are staring at a steel suspension rig directly across from you. This is the cross laurel was attached to. off to either side are the alcoves with the various styled play area, the medieval one being to the far right behind a fake or pony wall that is shiny metal on the lift side and dungeon stone on the other. This provides a nice visual continuity of ultra modern BDSM scenery only giving way to the stone look of the medieval alcove if you specifically angle toward it.

One of the alcoves is actually the staircase to the kitchen, the wine racks lining it.

The cellar temperature was cool and remained so even as the day warmed up. Annemarie took my silent burqa'd form over to the medical alcove and showed me some of the very strange and scary looking toys gleaming on a surgical tray there. One of these was, however, a fairly recognizable dildo, anther was a stainless butt plug, and some were urethral sounds. She explained that she was looking forward to using the sounds and plugs specifically on me later. unable to respond as I was still silenced, I just shivered a bit and sighed as I leaned into an embrace from her. This was going to be a fun Easter!

We were shown to our bedroom suite which was on the same floor as the master suite and had two rooms, a dressing room and a bedroom along with an en suite. The closet space in this room could have easily housed a small family. The closet in their master suite was even larger.

We were still in full latex and I was quite severely bound and gagged under my burqa as we entered our suite. Laurel had been released while we were in the cellar and resumed her duties, fetching our luggage and getting us situated. She has a small bedroom on the upper floor so she can always be available to her Master and Mistress.

Our room was already fitted with a California King bed made up with bright red latex sheets and duvet. A black rubber vacuum bed had also been set up for me, K&A knowing I often sleep in one.

The drapes in the tall windows were rubber on the inside with light blocking fabric lining the window side to protect against sun damage. Our room overlooked the pool and patio and was at right angles to the master suite.

In the dressing room there was a steel bondage rack, a set of steel manacles and spreaders, steel dildos and even a sex machine designed for dual penetration. There was a chest filled with straps, harnesses, ropes, and such and several items were laid out including bondage and breath control toys. The closet held a few outfits that were from Kermit's collection but would probably fit Sir, but most of the space was free for my wardrobe (yes, we were only there three nights, but I had been packed up with quite a wardrobe).

Several hoods, gas masks, breather bags, and other rubber toys were available, all from K&A's private collection but shared with us.

I shall go into more detail of our four day stay in a subsequent post. But let it suffice to say that our visit was memorable and very pleasant!

It has been wave after wave of sub-freezing, icy and snowy weather followed by a warm front with temperatures in the 70's. And it has resulted in me having a terrible cold. And a cold in latex is a profoundly miserable experience.

When I have the sniffles and runny nose as I do with this cold, wearing an enclosing hood is messy at best and intolerable at worst. Sir has allowed me to wear an open face hood instead so that I may blow my little nose and try desperately to keep it clear. I am wearing a skinsuit as usual, but with the open faced hood (which actually looks quite nice...very hijab like as the skinsuit is black) Over that I have my usual dress, a red one yesterday and a black one today.

And, of course, if I venture out (to the mailbox has been this week's limit) I put one of the burqas over that. The layers keep me warm in the freezing temperature and all is well from a cover point of view, but I notice that I miss the feel of an all enclosing hood or two quite seriously. I feel naked and exposed with my face hanging out like that.

To add to my discomfort, Sir is out of town this week and I am here alone with the cats and my cold. That poses a challenge as I must force myself to adhere to a rubber wear regimen eve tough I feel quite poorly. I confess yesterday I spent most of the day in bed, wrapped in the latex duvet, reading and blowing my nose. I did not get up and get dressed until well after noon. I longed to get up, put on a tight total enclosure catsuit, the tight rubber dress with a nice hobble skirt I got for Christmas, and slide into my thick, black burqa. But I simply did not have the energy. And the facial enclosure would have been a very bad idea.

Today, I feel a bit better and have arisen earlier, but I am still quite sniffly and my energy levels are low. I had some writing planned this week, more in my story about Katherine (see the confiningclothing group on Yahoo) but I think this post is about all I can manage.

I mentioned our mailbox above. Week before last Sir was also out of town and I had to collect the mail. Our box is at the top of the front yard about 50 yards (45 meters) from the front door. It was cold, drizzly, with the remains of an almost snow (more frost) on the grass. I had slipped on my new purple burqa over a purple dress and lavender skinsuit and finished off with black rubber boots and gloves. Nothing special, just my normal around the house attire plus the burqa. That day I was not gagged although I was wearing a second hood under the burqa. It is purple too, matching the dress.

I had walked up to the mailbox and was fishing around for the mail inside when a local police car (an SUV actually) pulled up and a female officer asked to speak to me. I turned around and could easily see she was somewhat disconcerted by the appearance of a purple rubber burqa, black gloved hands holding a stack of mail and adverts. I said hello and asked how I could help her.

She first introduced herself an explained she was a liaison officer looking in on our elderly neighbor next door. she wanted to know if I had noticed anything unusual in his behaviour lately. I told her no, but that my husband and I seldom saw him. We had noticed that he had not been out mowing or gardening as much but thought we were probably just missing him.

She explained that he had been ill and had undergone some behavioural changes, being angry and suspicious of people. I told her we had noticed nothing unusual. I was about to bid her a good day and get back into the house when she finally came out with, "are you okay?"

I told her that yes, I was fine. She then wanted to know about the burqa, the rubber, why was I "dressed like that?"

I explained that I always dressed like this when out in public; that I did not show my face. She seemed to take that explanation in stride but asked if the burqa was rubber. I said that it was and she wanted to know why I was wearing a rubber burqa. I told her it was warm and kept me dry. We chatted a bit about other things, her job, the neighborhood, the weather. But she finally steered the conversation back around to me. It was obvious she was curious and concerned a bit as well.

Finally, she asked if I or my husband were muslim (I'd been waiting for that one) and I explained that no, we were not. Then she wanted to know why, if we were not muslim, I was wearing the burqa. I explained that it was a 'sex thing' between me and my husband and that I always wore rubber and always covered in public. I laughingly mentioned that she was lucky I was not gagged that day as I usually was when in public.

"So it's a fetish thing, then," she asked, "like 50 Shades of Grey?"

I told her that yes, it was a "fetish thing" between me and my husband and that she should not worry, it was just our way. Finally, she seemed mollified with my explanation, and we said our goodbyes and she drove off. She did offer the obligatory thought that being hooded and gagged in public was possibly dangerous and cautioned me to be careful, but seemed to be reassured by my attitude that I was neither a prisoner nor an insane person. I explained that I had been dressing this way for many years, including time spent living in Ireland. I decided to not mention that I flew dressed in rubber burqa as that would prompt a whole new set of queries and I was getting cold ... the temperature was still hovering around freezing.

What I have noticed since, however, is that when she makes her visits next door about every 10 days or so to be sure our neighbor and his wife are OK, she stops in front of our house for a while and just waits. I am not sure what she is expecting, but when it is a bit warmer, I shall probably go out and say hello again. Maybe I will invite her in next time.

Our neighbors, of course, have seen me and grown used to my dress and to Sir's as he wears his latex in the yard quite often. I daresay she has quizzed them and I can only surmise what they have told her.

I feel a bit better now and my nose is a bit less runny. I think I shall go have a nice warm liquid lunch ... soup or maybe chili ... then a lie down.

For Christmas our son and his GF came in from California. We had several days with them, shopping, going to Christmas events, and then Christmas day. Nothing too exciting to report, but we all exchanged some very nice gifts, both ordinary and fetishistic.

In an unplanned bit of synchronicity, Sir and I got each other very nice Gas masks. These have become an interest and a standard in our dress and play recently, so adding two more to the collection made sense. I acquired a nice Russian mask for Sir and he got me a custom made Gas Mask hood with built in gag. This fits remarkably well and slides down under my catsuits or under my big black burqa very well. Sir is seeking one with a very low profile, however, that could be worn beneath a burqa without detection. This is difficult because of the burqa design, but he may yet find something.

I have also ordered him a British mask with the big round exhalation port you see in many photos, but it has not arrived. He wants to get me one in bright red, but we are not sure where to find such. Anyone with suggestions, please comment.

Another gift he got me was a new, bigger, better keyboard for my computer. The one I have been using was not well suited to rubber gloved typing by someone in vision obscuring hoods and /or burqas. This one is much better, although I have contemplated one of the truly BIG Key keyboards with 1 square inch key caps and even colour coded vowels and consonants.

I also received a new catsuit and a new hooded bodysuit in latex which are quite lovely. Plus, a metallic purple rubber burqa ... a colour which gave me a somewhat regal air if I do say so.

And...Frabjous Day...son gave Sir a new camera! A very GOOD camera, that takes very GOOD pictures. This gives me hope that he will take, and allow me to share, more photos. If only the camera has a 'take only good pictures' setting.

Yesterday, New Year's, I spent the day in my red latex nun's habit with my new gas mask hood worn under the white wimple. So I presented a fascinating black gas masked face, white hooded, red veiled nun aspect. Coupled with my black gloves and boots it made quite an ensemble. I wore a white total enclosure catsuit under it which looked excellent peeking out from the sleeves around the gloves and out from the hem of the habit dress. Sir took some photos with the new camera. I shall see if he will allow me to share.

We went out on Saturday to see Saving Mr. Banks, an interesting film about the making of the movie Mary Poppins. I wore purple...a catsuit, a dress, and a burqa. Corset and gloves were black, though.

New Year's we spent in this year. We had a couple friends over, and played a bit with vacuum beds in the playroom. It was delightful and I find I truly enjoy playing with a helpless female encased in a sealed vac bed while I am wearing a burqa over several layers of latex. Sir took photos of this as well and they are fascinating. He had tried to convey how alien I look when shrouded and draped, my arms extending from the burqa's slits and someone laying on the table helpless in rubber encapsulation, but I had never quite 'got it' until I saw the photos he took. More permission to ask.

So welcome to 2014 and another year of me probably breaking my resolution to blog more frequently. I hope everyone is going to have a happy one.
It feels Sooooo Goooood!
I had several papers I wanted to work on, a few reviews I wanted to do and, of course, the continuing adventures of my literary creation, Katherine Duane.

I am happy and amazed to say that I have written and uploaded parts 3, 4, and 5 to the Confining Clothing Yahoo group in the past few days. After so very long on the shelf, suddenly Katherine's story is just pouring out.

Actually, this is not just Katherine's story. Rather, I am working out some philosophical and political ideas which, I must confess, were concretized for me by the marriage equality movement and the advances we've seen this year.
which features several items in latex. Finally, a true institution, not known for its leading edge design or execution, upholding traditional values in apparel for over 100 years, includes rubber in its catalog.

Somehow, that prompted me to pick up my pen, metaphorically, in my little rubber fingers, and start pounding out this story that has been rattling around my brain for a few years. Of such little things are major decisions made. Not just the decision to write a fun, sexy, interesting story (I hope), but the decision to formulate in my own mind the philosophical and political implications of a society where fetish is normative.

OK, enough silly meanderings. The temperature is still well over 100 degrees outside and I am almost completely confined to the house to stay cool. We did go out for a few very nice dinners in August and celebrated our wedding anniversary. I received a new skirt and blouse of a sort of grey-green latex and a new vacuum bed.

But mostly I have spent the previous weeks slaving over a keyboard, encased in thin, transparent latex or a simple rubber dress, stockings, and gloves. Sir has allowed me to wear only one layer, given the heat. I truly miss those cool wet days in Ireland.
Nothing much else is going on. We are well and Sir is busy. He has traveled some and will do so again this month. I shan't be accompanying him on these trips. Not until the weather cools considerably.

I've tried to garden, but the heat is just too much, even under the constant mist. The plants, on the other hand, seem quite happy and have grown out of all proportion to the amount of care and attention I have lavished on them. There is a lesson here, perhaps.

We have been in the pool a bit, Sir allowed me to swim a bit the last few days in just a transparent skinsuit. But the water is still almost 100 degrees and not refreshing. it did feel good to 'skinny dip\ a bit, though. At one point he joined me in his black TE suit and we had all sorts of fun one evening after the sun went down.

Sir wants to acquire some hoods for us with the built in mouth look alikes so we can experience kissing and other oral delights through the intervening layer of rubber lining our cavities. They are expensive although he found some from China that are not as realistic, but much cheaper. Proabbly, we will hold off until the better ones can be had.

Also, I would like to say thank you to my Second Life friend Mai for all the work she did on my new SL House. It is wonderful and she did it around real world chaos and even illness. She is a great friend.
That not only includes another post to this blog, but also parts 2 and 3 of a story I am writing.

I had uploaded part 1 of my story, Entering Rubber Society to the yahoo group 'confining clothing' (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/confiningclothing/) in the files section. I recently uploaded part 2, only 18 months separating the two.

In an effort to be somewhat more frequent, and to exploit my sudden urge to write instead of read over the hot summer, I have nearly finished part 3 and shall upload it hopefully later today.

In other news, one of our cats has damaged his knee (stifle) and will undergo surgery to repair it. The recovery, I understand, will be long and involved, but it should restore him to full mobility. Exactly how a young cat did so much damage to his 'stifle' I do not know, but we've seen three vets now and they all agree that he will have to drop any future plans for playing in the NFL.

Fortunately, as we have spent a few weeks seeing if it will heal itself and taking him for consults, he does not seem to be in too much pain, but is obviously in some discomfort. I hope the rather elaborate surgery they are proposing fixes it so that he can resume his life as a comfortable and fattening old cat! He is a dear and his companion has been very solicitous of him since he began limping. She even backs off and waits for him to finish eating before she does which is most unusual.

Visiting vets in a latex burqa (white once, black once, and blue the third time) was, as one might expect, an interesting experience. Sir accompanied me and did all the talking, of course, so there was little to do but watch and occasionally hold the cat. He is most comfortable with latex now although I recall when we first acquired him he was confused by it and tried to bite my sleeve a few times. It seems he enjoyed cutting his teeth on squishy latex when he was a kitten.

The other patients in the clinic stared but said nothing and I must say all the staff we encountered were very professional and seemed unfazed by having a woman fully veiled with an injured pet in their examination rooms. One young girl acting as a receptionist seemed to have a sudden total loss of concentration, focus, and memory for her duties, but did finally manage to get the information Sir gave her entered into the record.

Temperature wise, things have cooled for a bit here in North Texas. We even had several bouts of torrential rain which was both good and damaging to my garden. Some of my standing plants were toppled, but everything sprang up after a few good soakings and it is amazing to see actual mud in the garden once again. I was, thankfully, able to go out a couple days ago and repair the damage, working for ten or fifteen minutes beneath the cool mister that hangs over the garden space.

Due to the heat, even in our somewhat over air conditioned home, Sir has not required me to wear the usual skinsuit under a dress and/or other layers for the past few weeks. Although the temperature in the house has been low enough to make latex tolerable, the humidity has still been excessive. So for a few weeks I have only worn a loose dress around the house and occasional gloves and a hood in the evenings. But this past week I have been able to return a few times to my usual total enclosure skinsuit, with a second hood gloves and dress. I have even been able to wear my corset and a neck corset.

Sir has remained in his usual latex slacks and shirt mostly, but did for a while replace trousers with shorts. However, he was able to don a full enclosure suit and gas mask the other night. We enjoyed quite a lovely evening, our first in total rubber for some time.

We've essentially stopped going out for a while. It is so hot that there is little impetus to do so. There have been no particular events we wished to attend and, accept for trips to the vet, no reason to venture forth. he even cut a few days from commuting to the office and worked from home when it reached into the 90's before 8 am.

Our swimming pool reported a temperature of 100 degrees a couple of days. So hot that swimming would not have been refreshing and actually, given our penchant for total rubberisation when swimming, could have been dangerous. So we have not even had that for an outlet.

But at last we have had a break and things might get back to normal. I am looking forward to our anniversary and then to labor day. Hopefully we will have good weather for both.

I only ventured out last night to go see a movie; the first time I've been out in days. Our traditional August heat wave has arrived with a vengeance.

For the record, no, I am NOT in total enclosure latex this past week. I have been allowed to wear a single layer and I have opted for a loose, semitransparent purple dress with flared skirt and short sleeves. no hood, no skinsuit, no gloves and most of the time, no shoes or boots.

When not wearing that, I have opted for a loose, blue rubber kimono, or a mid-calf loose skirt and blousy top.

The house is at 68 degrees and I shudder to contemplate our power bills. We have already had to have two units repaired this summer and will probably overload a third (out of 4) before the heat breaks.

I am NOT attempting to garden, under mist or not. We have used the pool a bit, but the water in the pool is at blood temp, so it does little good.

We did venture out last night, at nearly 10pm, I in a thin, loose rubber dress, gloves, and platform pumps (yes, 5 inch spikes) under an appropriately blue burqa, to the cinema to see Smurfs 2...A fun movie in the 97 degree evening, but in an over-air conditioned theatre. Thank heaven for that. The trip from door to car and car to entry was like a blast from an oven, but fortunately short and uneventful.

Today, I discovered that the SL Fetish Fashion blog written by my dear friends Deirdre and Lelo, mentioned me in their Thursday post on Mariko Demonia's new outfits for the Latex web, where I make my SL home. Mariko is delightful and oh so talented. The Darkadia sim is gorgeous and relaxing.

She has created rubber veils, abaya dress, hijab, and niqab in two flavors in glistening SL latex. These are beautiful designs with a hint of Spanish Moor in them as well as Arab seductress. One could act out scenes from Othello or Lawrence of Arabia in these beautiful outfits. (she also gave me a beautiful photo of myself for my Sl profile. Too nice!)

If you are a resident of Second Life I urge you to travel to Darkadia, the home of the Clan of the Latex Web, and experience a blending of Japanese and mid-east culture inspired by the art and writing of Michael Manning. Gardens, water features, sculpture, a tea house...and there are beautiful outfits in the shops, too.

We'll, I go to enjoy a cool, liquid dinner of chilled wine, rapidly melting ice cream, and crisp, cold salad.

Stay chill
Was my last post actually entitled "The Coldest Winter"? And about the cold summer weather in San Francisco? That is certainly not the case here.

We have been experiencing record highs here in Texas and I have, consequently, been keeping a record low profile. I have been staying very much around the house, venturing out only a few times in the last month. Sir has even allowed me to not wear anything at all to sleep, having only the latex bedsheets to cover me. They are delightful to snuggle down in, the bedroom kept very cool and the sheets swaddling me as I sleep. On other nights he puts me into the vacuum bed for the night, also without any skinsuit and the sense of being packaged, chilled, and immobilized is amazing as I drift off to sleep, Sir watching, stimulating me from time to time with his hands or other toys.

Our AC bills are outlandish, but such is the cost of keeping cool. We actually shut a third of the house and are not cooling the library and back rooms to conserve.

Even our pool has heated up so much that it is at a tepid 90 degrees most days. Floating about in it is still enjoyable, but not as refreshing as usual. Where I typically wear a skinsuit, bathing suit, and burka to relax in the pool, lately only a skinsuit and burka have been required. In the dark of night, (we actually do a lot of swimming at midnight) Sir has even removed the burka, letting me, effectively, skinny dip with nothing but a transparent full enclosure suit on.

I was out gardening earlier this week with full enclosure enforced beneath my bright white burka, but that was only possible because of the mister we have which showers fine mist all over the garden while I work. It reduces the temperature by about 20 degrees and I do the gardening in the mornings (even before my bath) to catch the lowest temperature and best shade. This week, I was out weeding and replanting some flowers in a transparent purple tinted skinsuit, a purple flared skirt day dress, and my white burka ... I may need a purple one soon .... anniversary coming up!

While my hands were basically free to exit the slits in the burka, they were bound to my waist above the elbow and triple gloved in the rubber of the skinsuit, then black wrist gloves which accompany the dress, and rubber gardening gloves which I wear to work on the flowers and weeds. No way will the naked flesh of my hands ever be exposed to bug bites, thorny perils, or damaging sun. Even if I managed to puncture the gardening gloves, the other two layers would preserve both my modesty and my flesh.

My legs were bound together above the knee under the dress and I wore black rubber boots with high spike heels. as you may know, I actually wheel around my garden on a little wheeled kneeler made explicitly for tending a garden on your knees without damaging your clothes.

It quite fun to spend a bit of time, perhaps bound, certainly gagged and at least restricted, gardening away ... I love the times I get to perform normal, mundane household chores while in severe restriction. You should see me puttering around the kitchen in three layers of latex preparing dinner for Sir and myself. Many days I am restricted to a liquid diet and so I cook up a meal for him while pureeing one for myself. Sir has a fantasy of me never again tasting anything by latex lining my mouth, all food being delivered by feeding tube, but we have not realized this fantasy yet. So far, a bit over a week or so is my longest period of latex lining my oral cavity.

Earlier in June we went to Sir's sister's place in San Antonio for a few days. It was much cooler there and I could comfortably wear two catsuits under my dresses. We did some shopping at their local malls, acquired some new electronics and a couple of presents for my sister's and mother's birthdays.

His family is so accepting of my idiosyncratic dress. They no longer even comment on the burkas or the layers of latex. Several of his nieces and nephews and their families were visiting as well. She has quite a large family. We spent evenings watching old movies and days talking, shopping, and went out to a movie one day.

While there his sister threw a bit of a backyard party with her former colleagues as she has recently retired. The folks coming over were certainly taken aback a moment when introduced to me, but once introduced and seeing how Sir's sister accepted me, they were quite pleasant and we had several interesting conversation. For the party I was in blue tint skinsuit, metallic blue hobble dress and metallic blue burka. I was allowed to speak and my hands were unbound, though double gloved in metallic blue rubber. We sat beside her pool and ate and drank for several hours.

We drove down to San Antonio this time rather than fly. Sir was in a mood to drive his new car. So I spent about 7 hours in three layers of rubber in the back seat, wearing rubber ballet boots, hobble dress, gloves, rubber straitjacket, and silenced by a gagging hood under my red burka. The looks from passing drivers, particularly those in big rig trucks, were most humorous.

Needless to say, I did not disembark from the car when Sir stopped for tea and/or to relieve himself. My hood was provided with a drinking tube through the gag and he kept that in a bottle of cold iced tea. My bladder was similarly controlled and I never felt any discomfort, urgency or need to relieve myself. It was, actually, a most enjoyable drive. Sir was decked out in a rubber short sleeved catsuit under latex slacks and wore latex driving gloves which, for some reason, aroused me terribly. There was something so menacing about those gloves when I watched, helpless, from the rear seat as he pulled them on before starting the engine and driving me off to parts unknown...ah, my fantasy subtexts begin to invade my text...forgive me.

Last night we went out to see fireworks, of course. No, I do NOT have a US Flag burka, but wore my white one for coolness. It is always a treat to sit around with hundreds of other people on Independence day, enjoying the fireworks and eating ice cream or frozen popsicles. Yes, I was ungagged beneath the burka, but in a long flowing white rubber dress. The one I often wear to fly.

Surrounding us were neighborhood people, representing at least a dozen different cultures. Hispanics from Mexico, Central America, and Brazil, Indians, Pakistanis, Middle Eastern families, Japanese and Chinese. And, for some reason, many were in ethnic dress. I saw two Kimono clad women, a Hispanic mother and daughter in typical Mexican flowered pattern celebration dresses, a family of 4 women all in Indian Saris, a couple of Salwar Kameez, several girls and women in Hijab and two fully veiled in Abaya and Niqab. And one woman in a bright blue Pashtun style burka, similar to mine. It is always wonderful to me to see such diversity in our neighborhood.

Everyone took everyone else's ethnicity and dress in complete stride. No one even asked me about the latex I wore. In this crowd, different was normal. Individuality and

The fireworks were lovely, a good 40 minute show with a beautiful finale. I was saddened to hear of the 28 people injured in the Simi Valley incident. It does remind one that, as lovely as they are, these are dangerous devices.

So, it has been a busy month. I hope everyone has been having as good a summer as we have and tht yours is a bit cooler than ours.
Sir and I just spent 4 days there and it was, as usual in June, chilly and windy. I know everyone wants to see more posts so I will make this one a short, quick essay.

We had a very nice time, doing very little. We were in a beautiful hotel, high atop one of the city's hills and during the day I went shopping and sightseeing while Sir went to a conference. I spent some time in the Haight-Ashbury district and toured the SF-MOMA. I enjoy its exhibits, but confess I do not care for the building. We did not have time to visit the deYoung which is one of my favorites.

In the evenings we went to dinner and once to a show. There is a huge variety of dining available in San Francisco and I must say the seafood and the Asian are my favorites, not least because I can easily manage the main course while still maintaining my burqa'd dignity.

Walking is always a challenge for me in this city, however. Sir still requires very high heels and the SF hills are a challenge at times in an outfit that routinely drags on the pavement. This was particularly so on Tuesday night when we went to a show.

Under my veil, I was dressed in the beautiful new dress Sir gave me for Valentine's. Tea length, tight bodice, flared skirt and ribbed at the waist. It is my current favorite cocktail dress. I wore it over a full enclosure skin suit in a matching transparent purple. I particulalry like this combination because the hood, sleeves, and legs of the skinsuit complement the purple of the dress perfectly. It looks as if I am a monochromatic rubberized mannequin, stepping down from a store display.

Over this I wore my blue burqa with matching gloves and knee high latex boots with 5 inch spike heels. For the evening I was required to wear the built in silencing hood and we ate a late dinner afterwards where I was allowed to remove it.

We spent our last day, before our flight back, shopping in a couple of malls and a very nice artisan neighborhood. We spent time in some galleries and Sir picked out a couple of new photographs for our collection. A couple of people snapped photos of us with their smartphones, but we did not have the opportunity to meet them or ask for copies.

I was in my red burqa and Sir was in black latex slacks and a black button down rubber shirt under a rubber jacket. The gallery people looked a bit surprised when we walked in, but each gallery seemed to warm up to us as Sir discussed different works and the possibility of acquiring something. I simply stood by, enveloped in red rubber, looking at the art...mostly photography, but some sculpture as well.

We returned home uneventfully. The flight was fairly smooth with only a short period of turbulence. As usual I was in all white, my white dress under my white burqa, an open faced hood later covered with the burqa's silencing hood.

I did have a moment during bag claim when a teenage girl sat beside me and couldn't take her eyes off my burqa. I was sitting waiting for Sir to collect the luggage. On a whim I extended my hand through the hand slit and pinched a fold of the voluminous white rubber and held it up for her to feel. She looked a bit amazed, but felt it and smiled. I think she was as amazed by the sight of my white rubbered arm and hand as by the fact that I invited her to touch and feel the rubber.

I apologize; there has been little to write about and much busy work to occupy me. The begging is heartrending and, were I a dominant, would be rewarded with the proper response (say, six of the best?). However, as I am sub, I bow my head and pen yet another short missive to feed the craving that, apparently, never ends.

Actually, there has been some interesting things to write about since Sir took me to the party mentioned in the previous post. Those things have kept me busy, but they have also been of such nature that I have not written about them.

First, we travelled recently London for a few days. I love London and always enjoy my time there. Sir had meetings and I had shopping to do. We always stay at the same hotel, not far from Piccadilly, and I was able to walk up and over to Berwick street to look at exotic fashions.

The day I was out for this excursion was a Friday as I recall and the weather was cool and damp; a typical London Spring day. I wore a new purple dress (Easter present) over a lavender tinted, transparent skinsuit. For the day I wore the white burqa over this ensemble along with over the elbow white gloves. The dress is short sleeved, lightly boned, and has a flaring skirt. but the skinsuit is long sleeved with attached gloves so I had a proper two glove layer over my hands.

White rubber knee boots with a 5 inch heel completed my monochromatic presentment to the world. The interior hood which, as you know, silences me by pressing tightly against my lips, was augmented with a soft rubber gag which filled my mouth. Sir insisted that, if I were going out alone, I must be totally and fully gagged as opposed to just relying on the burqa's attached silencing hood. This agreed with me as I love being gagged in public. It is so exciting and arousing to be in a crowd or in a shop and feel my mouth filled with rubber, pressed upon tightly by a well formed hood which is also limiting my vision.

Making my way through the hotel lobby was fun as I attracted quite a few stares. However, it is not unusual to see veiled or burqa'd women in London, but it is somewhat unusual to see them where I was. And they are usually in black whereas I looked like a swiftly moving white cloud as I walked steadily out of the lift and to the front door. The doorman, who had been on duty when we checked in, simply opened and held the door for me and asked if I needed a taxi. I shook my head and bowed slightly to him. I have found that a slight bow to someone speaking to me has the effect of acknowledging their words and politely ending the conversation. If absolutely necessary I have a small card I carry which explains that I cannot speak, and thanks the person for understanding. Sir printed up a set of cards with somewhat standard questions and answers for me a few years ago and I have used them occasionally. For example, there is one which asks the way to the toilet and one which thanks the person for their kindness. All start out with the simple statement, centered in the card, "I cannot speak at this time. Please excuse my silence."

But generally, no reply, written nor oral, is required from me; a simple nod of my head (or a shake) followed by a slight bow which bobs my rubber covered head slightly, is enough. Clerks, doormen, drivers all seem to understand it.

I proceeded down the road to Regent St, then 'round to Piccadilly and up to Berwick St. Berwick has fabric stores supplying beautiful and exotic fabrics from all over the world to the West end theatre district and to people who are looking for something different in textiles. There is no specific latex sheeting store, but they do have shops with vinyl, lycra, satins, and metallic, hologram prints, and wet look fabrics which look like rubber. I enjoy sewing and I was taking the opportunity to collect some unique fabrics to bring home.

Piccadilly is a busy and complicated place to navigate, particularly in flowing latex with a limited field of view. I was a bit trepidatious, but I have wandered other cities (and even London) on my own and did not expect any severe difficulties.

Reaching the end of Regent Street and into Piccadilly proper, I made my way around and onto Berwick street. This is a wonderful, lively place with the market, then fabric shops lining the street. I made my way up the street, stopping in three or four shops and acquiring quite a few meters of exotic fabrics. One shop, I was surprised to find, actually did carry latex sheeting for fashion.

I am of the community which applauds the entree of latex into the mainstream of fashion. I do not believe our fetishistic passions are at all diminished by the appearance of latex skirts on the runway or of latex hoods in the high street.

The shop clerks were quite friendly, leaving me to browse but helpful if I needed it. Communication was a bit challenging, of course, but I made myself understood. None seemed terribly surprised nor put off by helping a woman in white burqa and two or three fingered it with sincere curiosity. One young lady in hijab rattled off at me for a moment in what I assumed was Arabic. I showed her my "English Only" card and her eyebrows widened, but she switched to English to ask me how many meters of a shiny wet look Lycra I desired.

I made my purchases and arranged for the fabrics to be delivered to our hotel. From there I went on up to Oxford St and did a bit more window shopping before hailing a taxi to take me back to the hotel. This, of course, involved more silent communication, but before embarking on these little outings sans Sir, I always acquire a business card from the hotel and it as a simple matter to inform the driver where I needed to go.

Later that evening, in my metallic blue burqa, with a blue tinted skinsuit and a stunning metallic blue evening gown beneath, we went round to a seafood restaurant not far from the hotel. Sir reminded me of a time in the late 90's when we went to the restaurant Pharmacy in the same area. It was a remarkable place, extremely stark and clinical in decor, but with wonderful fish. Sadly, it is gone now although I understand its investor, Damien Hirst, did quite well. Sir actually bid on some of the artwork from the restaurant when it came up for auction, but did not win any of the pieces.

I was allowed to eat under the burqa, my silencing hood removed for the occasion so I only had the skinsuit's light, blue tinted, transparent rubber hood covering my head, fitted to the contours of my face like a slick rubber glove. I must say, do enjoy the feel of a thin rubber hood against my face, then covered by the light touch and feathering of the burqa as it moves with my body. It touches my cheek, my forehead, and my nose ever so lightly and sets them quivering beneath he soft, gentle embrace of the thin, almost diaphanous, slickness of the skinsuit hood.

The view from inside the burqa is dark and private, with little flashes of sight perceived through the filter of the pepperpot eyeholes. I always find myself touching my rubbered face beneath the burqa as we sit in a restaurant, I with a small plate of food inside my rubber tented world.

We spent a few more days and nights in London, even traveling over the weekend to the Cotswolds for a short day trip. I shall write a bit more of that later.

I shall cut this short here. Suffice it to say that we had a wonderful time in London, saw some old friends, and ordered new clothing made.
He has communicated with the couple we met in the mall and it turned out they were going to this get-together. An invitation from the host of the party appeared in Sir's inbox a few days later. We barely had time to plan, but managed somehow. He thought you might enjoy reading about some of our time there.
The venue was a large private home in a town north of us. There were about 15 people (7 couples and 1 threesome) and our hosts provided rooms for everyone. The only requirement was to be in latex all the time from arrival Friday afternoon until leaving Sunday afternoon.

We drove up on Friday with me in my blue burqa over a blue dress, hood, gloves, stockings and tight black 7 inch spike heel knee boots. Under the dress I was in a transparent blue skin suit with eye, nose, mouth openings and the crotch had entry holes for filling with plugs front and rear and for accessing genitals. The zipper on this skinsuit does not go through the crotch. Sir was in black latex slacks, shirt, and jacket.

Arriving guests were shown to their rooms (the house has 10 bedrooms) and the rule of the house explained again. All latex all the time. No one was to be seen in anything but rubber until after noon on Sunday. Showing skin was OK, but no other material was to be worn. Everyone was fairly local and many arrived in latex as we did, driving into the country rather than flying to a nearby airport and renting.

Our hosts were dressed in very extreme rubber and she, in particular, appeared in bondage throughout the weekend. She was at least 6 feet tall in her bare feet, large breasted with a slender waist moving into perfectly sized hips and buttocks.

Over the weekend, she wore several fantastic outfits, including corsets that were amazingly laced to certainly no more than 18-20 inches, but her hands and arms were always bound, her head and face hooded with bizarre hoods and she was usually gagged.

Her catsuits were smoothly fitted to her frame and her dresses were stunning with elaborate details, appliqués, and silhouettes. Her corsets were extreme and one was a venus corset designed to make it appear that she had no arms. That one was in bright gold latex and topped a matching evening gown with a train. It was rear zipped from floor to waist with a multi-slide zipper providing easy access while maintaining the hobbling effect of the zipper at the ankles.

As I said, she is a very tall woman with a wonderful figure, standing imperiously straight due to her corsets, and wearing 8-10 inch heels with platforms adding to her natural height. All in all, she was incredibly elegant, poised, and intimidating, particularly hooded as she was. This made her look rather unapproachable. She reminded me, since we never saw her face, and never saw her hands or arms, of some statue you were afraid would crack and crumble if you touched it.

In reality, as I would learn, she has a wonderfully friendly and easy going personality. She too was a teacher in her career, teaching in an elementary school for about 25 years before retiring. Her husband, our host, had been an engineer, but had retired a few years before to move to a country house and pursue his hobbies which seem to be latex and BDSM. The couple had met at a BDSM munch in San Francisco about 10 years before and have been married for 8. They had found the large farmhouse and renovated it for their own tastes (including two play rooms or 'dungeons' as everyone called them) and decided to have latex dinner parties. That had evolved shortly into latex overnight parties.

He tended to wear total enclosure suits which fit very tightly while his mask and headgear were large and elaborate. In particular, one hood had several tubes emerging from it plus an inner microphone with a speaker mounted on the outside of the suit under a thin mesh of latex. No one could understand or hard;ly hear him unless he activated this little device to communicate.

Sir and I were shown to our room, a large bedroom with en suite bath and a king sized bed. Sir had asked about latex bed clothes, but the host did not provide these, so Sir had brought ours as well as my vacuum bed. He assembled it while I remade the bed in our style.

Of course we had brought along a collection of toys and playthings, but also found the room was equipped with a glass fronted cabinet filled with bright, clean, and quite amazing rubber and steel toys. It was like having a mini-bar in your hotel room but with filled with fresh erotic paraphernalia.

It was then that Sir explained that I was to remain in my burqa'd form entirely and completely until we returned home. For the next 36-40 hours I would be encased in the same skinsuit, dress, hood, gloves, and stockings and wear the same burqa with its second silencing hood. I would not be allowed to bathe, eat, or drink normally during that time. I was sealed and would remain so.

With that announcement, he proceeded to romance, bind, and stimulate me to an immense orgasm as I imagined what it would be like being sealed for the entire weekend in the same outfit, veiled by my burqa, silenced by my hood, fed by a tube, and enjoying the stimulation of my plugs.

More later ... :)
We went to one of the larger malls in Dallas. People walk this mall for exercise and it is even marked for them to know their distance. Not only that, but it is marked on both sides of the concourse so if you walk the inner edge you get a somewhat shorter distance than if you walk the outer edge.

We were really just browsing. During the morning I had been gardening and this was a comfortable way to spend the afternoon before dinner at a nearby seafood restaurant.

But about halfway around the mall I looked out through my blue burqa with the goggle eyes and saw a couple approaching us. He was dressed in black and she was in a stunning purple latex dress. As they approached they noticed us and veered over to introduce themselves.

I was silenced, of course and could not speak, but this did not seem to phase them. They knew of my blog and the woman said it was some of her favorite reading...a comment that always makes me blush.

Sir explained that I was restricted and silenced and carried the conversation. He complimented the woman on her gorgeous dress and I nodded vigorously to show that I agreed.

The dress was tea length, with a full skirt, boned corset waist, and low cut top all in a semi-transparrent rubber. Nothing inappropriate showed, however. She was wearing dark foundations and ankle high cantilevered boots with no heel...fashionable pony boots. I have a similar pair, but hers were slightly different and very nice. She said she had acquired them in Italy.

There is a coffee bar with tables, chairs, and sofas and plush chairs in the middle of the concourse, so we headed there. We sat down and had a coffee (at least three of them did :) ) and chatted a bit. They explained that they enjoyed latex, mostly fashionable rubber, and were aware but not participatory in the latex 'scene' very much. However, they knew from this blog that we lived in the area so we discussed some of the ins and outs of rubber in a conservative public space like a North Dallas shopping Mall.

Truth be told, we did get quite a lot of looks, particularly since I was kneeling next to Sir, rather than sitting on the couch next to him, but most people just ignored us. Not, however, our new acquaintances. She said they had been approached many times during their visit to the mall with people asking where she got the dress, who made the dress, and was the dress latex, and how much they loved the look of the dress. A pair of young women stepped over as they were leaving the coffee bar and said they thought her dress was fantastic. They looked at me, but said nothing.

The men shared some interests, particularly in technology and software and Sir mentioned that he ran a development company. they chatted for a while. During that time, she queried me on lifestyle, enclosure, hoods, gags, etc. She was pretty good about asking yes/no questions I could answer.

I was not in heavy restraint and my arms were free to slip through the slits in my burqa (although they were secured to my chest above the elbow and, of course, gloved in the matching metallic blue of my burqa. But I had enough range of motion to gesture and communicate as needed. I was amazed that my kneeling in an obviously submissive manner next to Sir did not seem to faze her at all. He distinctly gave me permission to chat with her (non-verbally, of course) and she never blinked an eye.

When our coffees were done, we exchanged numbers and promised to call and get together again, then went our separate ways. It was a nice serendipitous meeting and I hope we meet them again sometime.

Afterwards, we made our way to an Italian restaurant for dinner. Sir allowed me to change in the ladies room from a silencing hood under the burqa to one with a mouth hole and to have a nice dinner...with angel hair pasta which is a challenge to eat under a burqa!

I was allowed to sit a the table and we actually had a wonderfully romantic dinner. The restaurant was not too full and it was quiet. I managed my veal carefully and we laughed and chatted about our day. Two old married people enjoying an afternoon and evening out...he in latex slacks and shirt, she in total enclosure catsuits, dress and blue rubber burqa.Latex Ladyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15218238153038374229noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9649129.post-23208370638582505942013-02-16T17:08:00.002-08:002013-02-16T17:28:55.309-08:00Christmas EventsWell, to continue the practice of short, pithy notes (as I believe I called them last time) this post will bring you up to date on our Christmas and New Year's adventures.

For Christmas, we journeyed to California to see our son and his gf. It was a fun time although it rained a great deal. Of course, this is perfect for rubber wear and for rubber burqa wear.

On the plane I wore all white, including a white, opaque, skin suit under white rubber dress in a loose fitting but straight skirted design, under my white burqa and its attached silencing hood.

I requested a private screening, but was mde to pass through the millimeter wave scanner first, anyway. However, after that I was escorted to a private area, patted down and visually inspected by a very polite TSA woman, the allowed to proceed.

As usual, I rubbered up properly afterwards in the ladies. I pulled the skinsuit's hood smoothly and tightly over my face, adjusted it so that I was gagged (the white suit has a small gag built into the hood), then pulled the burqa hood tightly over that. I have become quite adept at this and keeping my head shaved means that it is quite easy to zip shut down the back of my skull to the nape of my neck.

While visiting we went shopping in one of the largest malls and I encountered several other women in veil and hijab. Christmas may not be an important holiday to muslims, but it IS a very good time for bargains. There were no less than a dozen hijabi and niqabi shopping on Christmas Eve as we were.

We were in a large department store, Sir in his latex slacks and blazer, the kids in rubber jeans and tee shirt and a sailor moon cosplay outfit in bright blue and white latex. I was in my blue burqa over a blue straight dress with matching hood, gloves, and bots. Under that was one of my usual transparent skinsuits, this one tinted in blue and with an open mouthed hood. Consequently, I only had two hoods on for the day out and only the outer hood, the blue one that is part of the burqa, was silencing. This allowed me to talk when we were at the apartment or in our hotel suite, but to be fully gagged or silenced when out in public.

Sir had required that my arms be extended through the slits in the burqa and the wrists manacled and chained together outside the burqa for our trip to the mall. I should describe these. The manacles are actually more for style and for show than true restraint. They are light rubber straps with Swarovski crystal studs These buckle over my gloved wrists and are locked with small silver locks. They are permanently chained to each other by a thin silver chain. Were I to jerk my arms apart strongly, the chain would surely break. So, much more for the stylish fashion look than for true restraint.

There is a matching rubber collar, also studded with crystals, which I sometimes am made to wear around my neck outside the burqa. This collar can also be locked on and can be chained to the wrist cuffs via a straight silver chain descending from a D-ring to the chain between the cuffs.

Sir gave me this set of manacles for our wedding anniversary this year. He designated 37 as the "Latex" anniversary, but I think he is somewhat arbitrary about this.

I realized earlier today that I had never described them although I have been placed in them several times over the last few months. We both love the look, particularly against my darker burqas, the blue and the black.

Before we left for the mall, Sir asked our son to put the wrist cuffs on me. He did so, obviously enjoying the notion of chaining his mother in her multiple layers of rubber. I could see that Sir enjoyed the scene as well and the girl friend was fascinated.

That day (Christmas eve) Sir did not specify the neck collar, just the wrist chains. As we walked along the street, I stayed a 'proper' few steps behind Sir with my hands draped downward in front of me. The chains were not dramatically visible, but there was no way we did not attract attention and stares as we walked along some of the most crowded streets in the city.

As we wandered around the department store, we encountered two women in full niqab. They looked a bit startled when they saw me, but just nodded. I suspect they did not think I and my little rubber-clad cadre were religious as they were giggling to each other a few moments after we passed.

We did a bit more shopping, and I know I surprised the clerk in the women's tops section when I picked out two tops, the chain between my wrists tinkling and very visible. I presented them to the clerk with both hands, then stepped out of the way for Sir to pay. She was taken aback and an expression of disapproval crossed her face until Sir smiled at her and told her we were headed to a fetish party. This, oddly enough, seemed to mollify her completely and she was all smiles as she checked us out.

Afterwards, we separated into our respective couples and Sir and I wandered around a bit more, garnering stern looks from the folks in the Swarovski store even though my manacles, which I was no longer making any attempt to hide or downplay, were covered with their crystals. Sir and I were discussing (he talking, me signing with hand and head movements) which Christmas ornament to get for son's tree while being studied most carefully by the clerks and the security guard. However, when Sir picked out the ornament we agreed upon and asked them to write it up, we were suddenly the best of customers. :)

We looked at a few more places then hooked up with the kids and stopped in the food court for a light lunch. I, of course, was not able to partake, but sat quietly watching them eat fantastic smelling roast beef sandwiches.

I was allowed to sit with them (sometimes I have to either kneel or stand by Sir in public restaurants) with my blue gloved rubber hands poised on the table, manacles and chain in plain sight. We girls even managed a conversation of sorts about the goods she and son had purchased.

Lest you think Sir too cruel, he did order one of the sandwiches for me to go and I was allowed to eat it once we returned to our son's apartment.

So our Christmas Eve shopping was fun, and successful. Sir and I returned to our hotel suite for a very romantic evening. I shan't go into details except to say that it was very sensual for me, still gagged and burqa'd to undress Sir only to discover that he was encased in a black rubber catsuit the whole day and I had never noticed. Suffice it to say that we spent a total enclosure evening, even when room service delivered the evening meal and champagne!

The next day Sir and I stepped out from the hotel, after a light breakfast in the hotel restaurant (I was allowed to ungag for Christmas - :) ). Then cabbed over to son's apartment for a quiet Christmas day celebration.

My Holiday TimeSome of my readers have begun to comment most vociferously on my 3 month hiatus from writing in this blog. My apologies. Three month intervals do seem to have become my norm, although it is without intent. There has just been either so little or so much going on each time that I have procrastinated on the writing. I should be more consistent and frequent; one might even say I should be more regular, but there are such connotations to that term at my time of life.

I shall endeavor, as always, to post ore often. I take it people would rather see short, pithy postings frequently than have to wait until something has occurred which I deem write worthy. I shall attempt to accommodate.

Here we are, at the end of January. Thanksgiving has come and gone, Christmas and Hannukah have passed, and the New Year is underway. Heavens, yesterday we had an inauguration! it has been a busy quarter year.

It does seem strange to think of it as a quarter year since I last posted. I definitely shall have to focus more.

Well, my adventures in the intervening quarter:

Thanksgiving was spent with Sir's family, specifically, his sister. We have done this before. Although it was expected to be a small gathering of just 5 or 6, by the time we were seated around the table, there were 13 people enjoying the day and the dinner. Sir and I flew down and rented a car, driving out to the homestead on the day before. I was in white burqa that day with my favorite white latex long skirted dress on underneath. nothing much happened as we made the trip. At the airport i was subjected to the usual private pat down, but it was all very friendly. As usual, i prepared in advance with an open faced hood beneath the burqa so that it would be easy to show my face to the agent and confirm identity. After clearing screening, I went into a ladies room and slipped a full face, silencing hood in white over that so I was properly covered and unable to speak for the duration of the flight.

One thing I was able to experience was the new scanners, the millimeter wave, not the x-ray-based. These do NOT show an image of a naked body, but rather a stick figure indicating I had nothing scary on under my rubber burqa.

On the plane I sat and read, white gloved hands emerging from white burqa, large print selected on my iPad. Did I mention i have my own iPad now? Sir gave me that a while back. Very helpful for all types of reading and web browsing.

Collecting luggage was fun. I stood as Sir waited for our bags to come up on the carousel. A young boy of about 5 or 6 was goggle eyed looking at me and approached with an intent to touch the burqa. A quick handed mother dragged him back. I feigned ignorance of his approach, but was in fact contemplating the effect a sudden turn and bow might have on him.

We proceeded to our car rental and drove out to his sister's hacienda in the hills. Once there, I was greeted warmly, as usual, by the family. An old friend of his sister's was visiting as well and she was a bit taken aback by my veiled appearance, but had been prepared. I was allowed by Sir to retire to our assigned bedroom and to slip into my blue burqa with matching catsuit and dress on underneath and no silencing hood. This meant I could converse and participate with the rest of the family.

We had a lovely dinner, all white food, seemingly, although I do not think that was the intent. But Turkey, potatoes, marshmallow sauce, cauliflower, and root vegetables seemed to be the orde of the day. No greens or colour. Tasty, however.

I did have an opportunity to chat for a while with Sir's sister's friend who has quite a set of firm opinions about other cultures and people, and things not like her. She is a nice person, but definitely let me know that she considers my lifestyle and Sir's to be weird. She was, nonetheless, accepting; I suspect his sister got an earful later, however. :)

We went out to the Riverwalk one evening with Sir in his new black rubber burqa/cape/hood combination and I in red. There was a club that was one of the few fetish venues in the area and was having a thanksgiving week party, so we dropped by. They were not doing a fetish night then, but let us in nonetheless...Not much except some fun music and dancing, but definitely made an entrance!

After a few days, we came home. We did do some nice shopping in the San Antonio area, saw a couple of films, including the new one, Rise of the Guardians, which the children all loved. It is a funny take on some old indo-european christmas myths; Jack Frost, Santa, and even the Sandman.

Coming back, I was to wear all white rubber, from a solid catsuit, to a hooded dress, and then a burqa. It was cooler than when we left and this bundling was quite nice. It was, however, a bit more restrictive, particularly when i had to show my face at security. For this, the hood of the dress had not been pulled up and so I had two hoods to juggle with once through security. Took seemingly forever to get everything aligne3d, my mouth properly gagged and smoothed over by the outermost hood of the burqa.

The white burqa is still one of the most dramatic because it is so large and has so much shine to it. I feel like a cloud as I walk down concourses or corridors with meter upon meter of swirling white latex blowing behind me, the pressure all focused on my face, reminding me that I am hooded, gagged, and silenced (there is a difference) as the rubber pulls my posture straight and my head up.

I will end here and post again soon on the actual Christmas holiday which we spent in California. A fun time, but I am slow to write and I know everyone wants to hear more.Latex Ladyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15218238153038374229noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9649129.post-41483710120416394402012-10-10T17:20:00.002-07:002012-10-10T17:20:37.414-07:00A Hot Summer with RecoveryI have recently had a comment that I have not posted in 3 months, thereby invalidating the title of my last post.

This is very true. I had meant to post, but was ill for a while, as I mentioned in my previous post, then busy as Sir underwent and recovered from a bit of heart surgery. No sooner did I feel better than Sir had to go into hospital and have robotic heart surgery fix a congenital birth defect he'd never known about.

He is much, much better now, having had what was a minor birth defect surgically corrected 57 years later. He had developed a lot of breathing and exertion problems, but, thankfully, we had it tracked down and fixed. Sir, of course took it as an engineering problem and grilled the surgeon on all the technical aspects. He even requested a DVD of the movie they made as they traversed his heart and zipped it up.

Two months or thereabouts of recovery have meant that he has been here in the house most days, often relaxing and laying about. However, as his strength returned and he began to feel considerably better, he has become much more active and involved. And horny :) It is good that heart surgery not only did not damage his kinky nature, but actually intensified certain aspects. Medical fetish is now very much on the menu! With me as the patient in need of severe invasive and scary medical procedures!

For those of you who will ask, yes, I remained in my full latex clothing and in my burqas during his short hospital stay. The nurses and doctors were most accommodating. Sir allowed me to speak, so I was not silenced and my usual silencing hoods were left for me to wear only during trips to and from the hospital. But I was in a hooded latex skinsuit and a rubber dress over that, then my burqa. I wore the red, the blue and the gold/electrum over the three day stay.

Sir himself brought and wore his rubber pajamas and either his latex dressing gown or his rubber cassock. There was a bit of confusion one day as he wore the cassock over pajamas while walking with an IV pole. At least two other patients said, "hello Father" as he was shambling past them in the hallway on his way to the yogurt and pudding fridge.

Thankfully, he was only in one of those gowns for the day of surgery. I have since searched and cannot find a rubber version of a hospital gown. Perhaps they are so horrid that not even intense, serious medical fetishists are willing to wear even a rubber version.

Since I was on my own, but needed to come up to the hospital each day, I contemplated driving in the burqa, but as usual sanity prevailed. I contacted the car service we use when Sir is away and our usual driver shuttled me back and forth between home and hospital every day.

Sir was only hospitalized for three days; open heart surgery is, in many cases, not much of a challenge these days for doctor or patient. He had very little pain and took only a few more days lying on the couch to recover enough that he started saying he felt good. But he had 2 months of official recovery time which has meant that we have been on something of a holiday for a while.

It was while he recovered that our visit to the arboretum, which I mentioned in my last post, occurred.
August was hot here, as it always is, but cooler and wetter than usual. The truly outrageous temperatures did not occur until later in the month and consequently, I was able to go out fully sealed while Sir was home.

He and I went out to dinner several times and to the cinema and, of course, the arboretum. Walking was the way to recover his strength and we visited several shopping malls and just walked them for hours, window shopping and picking up a few things here and there. As his strength returned, I was amazed how much he could do so quickly. Heart surgery is not only good for the heart, it is good for the whole man.

Sir, feeling better, has been spending money. I know about the kimono he has commissioned for me, but I suspect so much more. I believe he has been ordering new latex outfits, medical fetish supplies, and breath control devices for himself and for me. I can usually tell by the sudden appearance of a tape measure on his desk.

Other than dinner, cinema, shopping, theater, car buying, and visiting friends, it has been a "quiet" summer. It is so good to have Sir feeling better and stronger than before. By the second week home he had resumed having rubber scenes with me, including some medical fetish play that was most entertaining. I had no idea you could do that with a catheter and a speculum!

I also did have time and energy to get back into second life and see old friends there. There had been some changes while I was gone. But I just never got around to posting to this blog for which I apologize.

Right now we are having work done around the house with windows, doors, air conditioning, trees, and other things required. That means I am fully sealed, silenced and burqa'd in my own home about 12 hours a day, at least. And Sir, feeling better has begun to insist on plugs in all orifices, including gags in my mouth. While he recovered he was quite busy on the internet and several new hoods, gags, binders, and other paraphenalia arrived. Of those, the new hobble skirt and gags and plugs and underwear have been put to significant use while the workmen are here in the house. They are used to me by now, ut do not know, of course, how bound and stimulated I am beneath my flowing burqa.

More of that later. Next post I will write about some of those medical scenes Sir has become enamored with.

Latex Ladyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15218238153038374229noreply@blogger.com16tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9649129.post-55227437524390168332012-07-12T15:22:00.000-07:002012-07-12T15:22:16.019-07:00Summer's Heat and I am backApologies to all for the long delay. I have been ill most of May and June and just did not feel like nor have the energy to post. That, coupled with a dearth of interesting events about which to post, has meant that I have been lazing around the house most of the past two months.

My illness seems to have been a bad bout of flu I picked up in May. Nothing too serious, but it left me exhausted and feeling out of sorts for several weeks. But by mid-June I was mostly recovered.

For those of you who will ask, yes, I stuck to my regimen of only wearing latex clothing, although it was often a rubber nightgown and peignoir worn around the house all day. I just had no energy and was suffering stomach upset. If I had been several years younger I would have sworn I was newly pregnant!

We did make a trip out to the local arboretum to see the glass sculptures of Chihuly and we've had dinner a few times with distant friends come a-visiting, but much of the time has been spent just reclining around the house. Only in the past two or three weeks have I even felt like web surfing, writing, or coming online at all.

I did get a fair amount of reading done and have enjoyed gardening in the past few weeks as I started to feel better. Of course, here in Texas gardening in late June in latex is a bit dicey.

Sir has set up a sprinkling mister over my entire garden space. It is under this that I work, trimming back my roses, laying down rubber mulch and planting new flowers, tomatoes, strawbs, and lettuce. It is a bit like I used to do in Ireland in that I am essentially working in the rain. Unlike Ireland, however, the sky is clear and the sun is still hot. I seldom do more than a half hour at a time before Sir orders me into the pool.

Typically, I wear either a white or metallic blue full enclosure latex skinsuit for these efforts, or a transparent skinsuit with a black rubber maillot swimsuit over it. Occasionally, I am required to wear a burqa while doing my gardening, but only for a short while. The 'rain' comes down on me and the plants alike and I am thoroughly soaked and slick with water shortly after I start anytime I go out in the garden.

After about 30 minutes Sir orders me into our pool which is beside my garden area. It is an amazing relief to step into it and take off swimming from one end to the other. It is really a play pool, not a diving pool and as such it is only about 4 feet deep at each end and 5 feet in the center. Perfect for a few laps and for being able to stop anytime I want.

We have had a nice little harvest of tomatoes, strawberries, and lettuce from my previous efforts. And our peach tree finally fruited this year so we have many little peaches.

As i began to feel more energetic, we went out to dinner with some old friends. We went to a nice fish restaurant where I could comfortably sit in my red burqa and nibble at a plate of fish under it. Of course we garnered a few looks and some whispered comments, but the staff were very nice. Sir let me speak while we were out on that excursion. Our friends are aware of our lifestyle but do not share our tastes in clothing or fetish. Nonetheless, they are quite understanding of our quirks.

I was dressed in a very tight red rubber skirt that came to just below my knees; a true hobble skirt forcing me to take very small steps. I wore a matching red top with Victorian styling. Red gloves and high heeled red boots of course. A transparent red skinsuit with a hood that has open eyes and mouth under all that completed my enclosure. My red burqa covered it all, of course, at the restaurant, but I did get the opportunity to show the outfit underneath off a bit once we all came back home.

Our other recent outing with friends occurred when Sir discovered that an old college friend was visiting in the area (thanks to Facebook status updates). He arranged for us to meet her and her wife at a Hibachi restaurant for lunch. They have a beautiful little girl and we had a fine time watching the show the chef put on.

I wore my black rubber kimono for that outing, under a black burqa. Again, Sir was kind enough to let me speak and Hibachi is wonderful for having all the food in bite sized bits.

This couple IS into fetish and were dressed in very nice rubber outfits, green leggings on one, a red skirt on the other, and both in white rubber blouses. Their daughter was in regular kid's clothing, but evinced her desire to "dress like my mommies" multiple times.

Again, I was able to remove the burqa once we got home and show off my kimono a bit. It has very long sleeves and an appliquéd pattern of white and red cranes on the bottom half. It was nice just sitting and reminiscing over university, which for us was 4 decades ago.

We talked a bit about how we all got into fetish and our friend's wife told us her story. They live in the pacific Northwest now so we had stories to swap of latex in wet climates. We haven't spoken to our friend in many years and she did not know anything about our time in Ireland.

It was later that week that Sir took me to the Arboretum to see the flowers and the glass sculptures. I was dressed in a white latex skinsuit, my full skirted white rubber dress (what I call my Easter dress :) and a white burqa over it. It was, thankfully, a relatively cool day with the temperatures only in the 80's. We were done and back in the air conditioning of the car before the temperature really began to rise.

So that has been my spring and summer so far. I am very glad to feel better now. Sir looked after me wonderfully while I was sick and was always most attentive to my needs. Of course, he ultimately came down with it too, but it only lasted a few days with him. I am not sure why mine was so persistent and enervating.

I have returned to the web, chatting a bit and going out on Second Life. I missed a couple of events in Second Life that I wanted to attend. But it has been nice to chat with folk who were beginning to think I had fallen off the end of the earth.

Let me say, I am back and feeling much better, so look to hear from me again soon.
I hope it works.

I suddenly realized I had not posted in months and thought that, with Christmas, a New Year, and now months into 2012, perhaps I should not be so remiss in letting folks know what has been happening in my rubbered life.

First, Christmas: We had a lovely one. Our son came to visit with his girlfriend. I received a new black rubber dress and a black and white umber that is stunning. I also received a very elaborate hood, in black and red, and some nice new rubber gloves. For Sir, I had acquired some new latex slacks and a very nice shirt.

After a quiet Christmas, wearing a red rubber dress over two catsuits for the holiday and not having to wear a burqa all day since I could be fully hooded and silenced while Sir, Son, and Girlfriend enjoyed Christmas, I spent the first part of boxing day in bondage, silenced, being tube fed and immobilized on our Corbu recliner. Sir put me into this first thing in the morning, wearing only a catsuit and new hood and decided to play with me most of the morning. This was in our bedroom.

However, I could hear our son and his girlfriend enjoying themselves in our formal playroom. She is a most enthusiastic sub and it was strange and oddly exciting to listen to their play while I was helpless and at Sir's mercy. The immobilization routine he follows with me on the lounger is designed to remove all control from me and to deliver me to him fully. It involves bodily function control, tubes, breathing management, and electrical and manual stimulation. By noon I was exhausted but very happy.

For that day I was in the new hood which has a built in gag, fits over the front of the face quite tightly and can have vision obscured if he desires. It's breathing tubes are routed to the back of the neck as well. Once satisfied with the immobilization play, he allowed me to finish dressing with the new black and white rubber bandage dress securing me tightly, then decided we would go out shopping...and so wrapped me in my white burqa and its hood.

Our son by this time had also released his girlfriend and we all went out for the afternoon shopping. Son decided to have his GF wear my red burqa and its matching silencing hood. It is a very strange thing to watch your progeny pulling a tight rubber hood over the face of his girlfriend, adjusting it well, then zipping it shut over her mouth to silence her.

I stood, already covered in my burqa as he did so and it was thrilling to watch her disappear under the mass of red rubber flowing around her. She wore a red dress tight to the ankles and red gloves as well. This is not her usual rubber attire, but Son had given her the dress for Christmas and it was beautiful and strict and very sleek under the volumes of rubber in the burqa.
I seldom get to see someone else being draped in these wonderful rubber burqas. It was quite thrilling.

She and I were told to stay together, hold each other by our rubber gloved hands and to enjoy our shopping trip. Of course, we were both silenced and actually gagged this day so we had nothing to say, but exchanged looks often through the several layers obscuring our features and faces, silencing us totally.
It was amazing to wander the mall that day, watching folks returning gifts and buying bargains. We walked hand in rubber hand, red and white burqas flowing around us, flanked by our menfolk in their latex street wear and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Occasionally we would turn to one another as if we could speak or share some comment, but of course, we could not. We could only stare into each other's perforated mesh, centered in the burqa's panel, forming the only faces we would know for the rest of the day. It was bizarre and beautiful and we loved it. We did communicate a bit through hand gestures, but generally just walked between our men, holding hands gently.

Son and his GF returned to LA a few days later. She wore her more usual rubber manga attire to fly in and we saw them off at the airport. She looks so cute as a rubber manga doll! One is hard pressed to recall her draped and hidden and obscured in yards upon yards of soft flowing rubber burqa. I am so glad Son had her do that so I could see what others see when I am fully encased and enveloped by these shimmering rubbery garments.

For New Year's we attended an evening play followed by a private party with a couple of friends. I have mentioned our Swiss friends Kermit and Annemarie before. They were here visiting the US for the holiday and we enjoyed a lively New Year's eve with them. We actually stayed the night with them in their hotel suite and I was thus introduced to 2012 in serious bondage and with the attentions of two very kinky friends. It was quite an experience, including severe breath control, bondage, needle play, and finally being allowed to experience multiple people taking pleasure from me simultaneously.

New Years day was spent recuperating, wrapped in rubber in their suite until the late afternoon when I slipped my blue burqa on over the blue dress I had worn for our little party and Sir and I made our way home. I still had some reminders of Annemarie's proclivities after we got home and was quite sore for a few days.

Since then we have been homebodies, seldom going out in January or even February except to dinner a few times a week. Sir was ill in early `February for a while and did not feel like doing anything but laying wrapped in his rubber cassock and sipping hot tea which I made copiously. He got better and has been working hard the past month. He has also been traveling which leaves me alone, free to follow his dictates by we and by phone. I seem to still spend most of my time in silencing hoods over rubber dresses.

But then last week I caught his cold or whatever and so, for a few days last week I was the one wrapped in rubber robe, sipping tea and doing nothing for days.

I occasionally log into Second Life and the fine folks at Darkadia in the Clan of the Latex Web have offered to let me live in their sim. It is all being remodeled and is based on the art and philosophy of Michael Manning's work which I love.

I hope that brings everyone up to date. We have had an interesting first part of 2012. We hope to travel out to LA to see our son on his home turf sometime soon.

Regards,
Summer has finally passed as I mentioned in my last post. The cooler weather means we have been venturing out more. Always a fun thing.

Recently, Sir took me to a performance at our local symphony house. It was Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition. Very enjoyable evening. He got us box seats close to the stage so we could look out over the balcony and see the performers. For the evening I wore my blue metallic gown, gloves, hood and burqa. Sir insisted that I wear the 6 inch platform boots under the evening gown. They make walking a challenge, but do give me much desired height and keep my hem from dragging too much.

The hood was a silencing hood so I could not speak or make any noise. I was also bound around my upper arms to the sides of my dress so I could not raise my hands and they barely exited the slits in my blue burqa. This was just for the fun of being bound up in rubber while out and about.

While I enjoy the sensation of restricted arm movement and having my stride limited by the over the top high heeled boots, it is the fact that I am silenced and in public that excites me the most. People nodded at me and Sir sent me over to buy him a coffee during intermission. The fact I could barely grasp it (thank goodness the serving counter was low) and that I could only silently nod at the young lady who served it generated a ridiculous amount of adrenaline, I must say. Walking back with his coffee held in both my tiny, gloved hands, barely able to clear the sides of my waist, was quite a challenge and did generate a few looks. But I made it, sat it down in front of him and then sank into my own chair. What I really wanted to do was collapse into a kneeling position ext to his chair and issue a "whew!" of relief. However, both actions were denied me.

Sir wore all black; blazer, trousers, shirt, and gloves.

I was not the only veiled person at the performance. There were two other women I saw in veils although not burqas like mine. They were with men and wound up seated in boxes across the auditorium from us. It was fun to watch them also lean out to see the performers as I was doing. Their niqabs occasionally fluttered over the rail.

The performance was excellent. Pictures is always a treat, being such a visual and aural piece. I sat through it happily. At intermission Sir struck up a conversation with the couple in the next box. They eyed me most curiously, but the subject of my attire, demeanor, or existence never came up.

We stopped at our favorite steakhouse afterwards and Sir enjoyed a good meal while I sat and watched. Of course, the silencing hood prevented me from joining him, but he had the waiter prepare a nice meal for me in a take home bag and I was allowed to eat later after we arrived at home. Sir had offered to remove my silencing hood under the burqa so I could join him at dinner, but I signaled that I would prefer to remain sealed if he did not mind. Sitting watching him eat while i have nothing to do, nothing to eat or drink, and no movement is such a strong symbolic gesture of submission, particularly in public, that I find I crave it and seek it out when possible.

A few weeks later we were invited to a party and went out this past weekend to attend. It was several hundred miles away and we were guests of our hosts at a sort of sprawling ranch house in central Texas. They are a lovely couple with quite a lot of empty rooms since their kids have mostly moved out and away. Consequently, they invited 3 couples to join them for a weekend party and we all got to have a suite each. A bedroom, private bath, and a separate room for the submissive to be kept in if desired...effectively, each bedroom came with its own little dungeon. Mine had a vacuum bed on a massage table, a spanking bench, and a violet wand in addition to a small collection of whips.

The weekend was spent with everyone in rubber, all 8 of us done up in hoods, catsuits, gloves, and serious bondage gear for the subs. We had a load of fun and our hosts put on a great spread including a big Sunday lunch of barbecue before we left for home.

So it has been an exciting few weeks.

Regards
LadyLatex Ladyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15218238153038374229noreply@blogger.com18tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9649129.post-64430736827852912922011-09-08T12:01:00.000-07:002011-09-08T13:48:42.939-07:00The Heat has Broken but My Bonds are TightOur string of 60+ days of over 100F (38C) degree heat has finally broken. This past Monday (Labor day, the official end of summer) we awoke to a cool 60F morning and it only climbed to 95F over the course of the day.

This still sounds amazingly hot, and is, if you are in the sun, but Monday was so cool, I was out puttering around in our garden while Sir did some maintenance on the house in preparation for the coming wet season.

Puttering around in our garden means going out in the early morning before the sun rises over the house and weeding and moving some flowers around. It also, of course, means doing it in latex.

Monday morning I asked Sir if I could work in the garden and he said yes, but to wear my burqa while I did so. And, because it was so cool when he woke me and let me out of my vac bed, I put on my usual cooler weather attire.

So, after my morning bath, I dressed in a thin skinsuit of transparent red tinted latex, a red rubber ankle length, loose skirted dress with a Victorian bodice (all high collar and leg o'mutton sleeves), matching boots, gloves, and a hood covering the skinsuit's transparent one.

This was the first day I have been able (and required) to wear two layers of latex all day long in quite some time. For most of the summer Sir has relented on the skinsuit allowing me to just wear a dress or skirt and blouse and only one hood. Sometimes, I have not even had to wear a hood for the whole day unless we were going out and then only the burqa's hood.

So, I wandered downstairs after dressing, doubly covered and gloved and hooded, and asked Sir if I could do my gardening before the sun got too high. His response was, "yes, but wear your red burqa. And I will put you in hobbling chains, i think!"

I was a little disconcerted since our back yard is fully enclosed and not exposed to neighbors or anyone else. No one could see, even if I was chained, so why the burqa? But needs must when the devil rides, so I went to our play room and waited.

A few moments later Sir joined me, collected a set of hobbling chains from the wall and proceeded to severely limit my range of motion.

The steel chains he chose are not very heavy, are very silver, and have rubber manacles attached to them. They start with a pair of ankle manacles, chained together with a length of about 18 wide. This limits my stride, but since I was to be kneeling much of the time, it would not matter much. A vertical chain rises from the center of the hobble to a rubber waist belt which went around my dress. Attached to it are 'D' rings at the sides and front and back.

The side rings have short chains coming off them with arm cuffs attached. These fasten above my elbows and restrict my arm range of motion considerably.

The D rings in back and front have chains coming off them leading to a heavy rubber neck collar. Once fastened, at the specific length, I would be able to stand, but would be unable to stretch.

Then, Sir fastened my head into a bright red hood (my third) with a feeding gag and limited vision from pepperpot eyes, and fastened the collar around my throat before draping the bright red burqa over my head (he is SO enamored of monochromatic dressing). The outer hood has a built-in gag which has a tube passing through it for providing me with water. Both inner hoods have wide mouth openings. The tube from the gag can either be run under the burqa or actually passed through one of the perforations in the burqa's grill for attachment to a water bottle that I could suck from as I wished.

He had me feed my hands through the arm slits and then then manacled my wrists with an 18 inch length between them on the outside of the burqa. Another chain dropped from the one hobbling my wrists to the one hobbling my ankles, so I actually had two chains rising from my feet to my midsection, one beneath and one outside the burqa.

If this all seems a bit excessive, it is, but Sir enjoys having me bound like this. The chains are connected to each other with small padlocks, so he can configure them any way he wishes, including shortening my stride and reach.

By just removing the wrist to ankle hobble he then has me ready to go out in public, bound and hobbled under the burqa.

Next I went to the garage to retrieve my tools, a bucket, and a rubber padded kneeling board. I was able to move with some difficulty, but I have done this countless times before, so I was used to it. Thankfully, I have learned to place all my gardening tools at a fairly low height in our garage since I could not reach higher than my elbows at best.

Out into the back yard and around to the garden. I decided where to work first and placed the kneeler in front of a patch of flowers with some weeds growing out of it. Then I prepared to kneel and get to work.

This raises a question. How should a veiled lady kneel to work in a garden? Does one kneel on the burqa? Does one lift it and kneel on the dress beneath it? Or does one lift all the skirts and kneel on her skinsuit?

I recall Sister Justine at school kneeling on her apron which she wore over her habit. But my mother would typically raise her dress up and kneel on the garden kneeler with her bare knees.

I opted for the most conservative, kneeling on my burqa. This still required some fiddling, fluffing, and flouncing of both my skirt and the veil, all of which was limited in scope by my chains. But, ultimately, I managed to drop to my knees in an appropriate attitude of prayer to the vegetable gods.

As I worked, bent over my weeding and pruning, Sir took some inappropriate photos, mostly of my rear. But, he did capture a few of my red rubbered hands with their black rubber manacles, emerging from the red swirl of latex burqa to wield a small garden fork and the obligatory pair of secateurs. There is something slightly sinister about those pictures with red rubbered hands holding shiny steel bladed secateurs. Slowly, my bucket began to fill with unwanted grass, weeds, and stems.

My kneeler has upright handles on it and short spiky legs which bite into the soil on either side. This is important because I could twist and use one hand to rise when I needed to move to a different location. I could only reach the side with one hand at a time because of the manacles and chain, but I was fairly capable of independent movement.

Sir, dressed in a black rubber shorty catsuit (a one piece affair with short sleeves and bermuda length short legs), proceeded to work on his grill, paint the railing around our balcony and stairs, caulk some windows, and repair some cracks in the outer stucco of our house. It has been a very hot summer and the exterior of our home has suffered, but it is looking much better after his efforts.

He WAS kind enough to take my bucket away from me and empty it multiple times as I filled it. He kept an eye on me to be sure I did not overheat as well and made sure that I was drinking from the water bottle, through my gag.

We worked for about four hours before the sun crossed over the crown of our house and began to beat down on the back yard. It had been very breezy and was quite a pleasant temperature in the low 70's, but one certainly did not want to be working with any strenuousness once the sun was up and the air began to truly heat up in the afternoon.

About 1 pm, just as the sun was getting to be too much, Sir came over, raised me up and unhooked all my chains. He reached under the burqa and removed the collar and the burqa hood with its gag. The reduction in pressure was much appreciated. But I did not speak as we are in agreement that once un-gagged I will always wait to be told it is ok to talk.

He then proceeded to walk me over to a chaise, sat me down, and removed my red rubber boots then walked me gently down the steps into our pool. My burqa and my dress were still on and they floated out around me until I got them a bit more under control and under the surface. The water was still blood temperature. it will be several days before it loses an appreciable amount of heat.

We floated around a bit, my in bright red voluminous rubber veil and dress, he in tight black jumpsuit. Finally, he came over to me, slipped my burqa off and unzipped my dress and removed both, placing them on a patio lounger by the edge of the pool. Thank heaven he had specifically told me NOT to corset in the morning.

So here I was, after about 5 hours in multiple layers of total enclosure and encasement in soft, red latex and steel chain bondage, now virtually naked in just the red tinted transparent skinsuit, still technically covered head to foot in rubber, floating gently on my back in a cool swimming pool. At one point, Sir came over behind me and I floated on my back, eyes closed, while he stroked my bald head through the thin latex (as he still keeps my head shaved). I am not sure when the orgasms began, but they did not end for quite some time.

We stayed in the pool long enough to enjoy each other very, very well, then he took me inside and undressed me and put me in a cool shower and had me re-dress, this time in black for the rest of the afternoon and evening. Later, after sunset, we went out to a nearby Japanese restaurant for dinner.

All in all, a wonderful labor day spent in the garden!

Regards
LadyLatex Ladyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15218238153038374229noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9649129.post-79639210405575782422011-09-01T13:20:00.000-07:002011-09-01T13:32:31.836-07:00Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!Rant Alert: Sir tells me I should warn everyone that my post today will be a rant and not fetish or latex related.

Today I watched a horrible wreck on television.

Not a wreck of flesh and steel, but of mind and knowledge.

Today I watched an episode of the game show Jeopardy! with three school teachers as contestants.

It was terrible to see two of them, one fresh from university, one with many years of high school teaching, implode in a heap of wrong answers and poor scores.

The third was also a high school teacher and, to his credit, walked away with $30,000 worth of right answers.

The other two finished with under $4000 and -$1600, respectively.

Now many things can influence this game as I am sure regular watchers are aware.

"Reaction time is a factor", so we have to allow that the runaway leader might have been considerably swifter on the buzzer.

Contestants, even those well rehearsed and chosen for the game by the producers do, sometimes, choke in the real event.

And occasionally, the categories are just not the forte of a particular contestant. But, with the possible exception of the reaction time issue above, I do not thing these rationale apply.

The lowest scorer kept losing money until she was in the red by answering questions wrongly.

She did not even know the river bordering Texas and Mexico (hint: not the Colorado)

The other, a kindergarten teacher, but, as I said, fresh from university, seemed mostly to miss buzzing in or to not try...it is hard to know when someone does not even get the chance to answer, just what went wrong.

But I certainly expected to see more even scores across the board from professional educators.

We typically see much more even scores across teen contestants, which I find interesting. Teens REALLY know teen culture.

Our teachers are trained, in some ways crafted, by our higher educational system; it is a mighty force as anyone who has tried to stand against it or change its course can tell you. And so, I looked upon the works of those mighty and despaired.

Now Jeopardy is, by no means, the way a teacher should be judged or ranked, rated, or recommended. Jeopardy! is a game show and cannot be used as a significant testing vehicle except, perhaps, in the IBM Watson competition. IBM chose Jeopardy! as its demonstration vehicle because Jeopardy! does require contestants to both have a wide general base of knowledge and to exercise their language parsing and comprehension skills to participate at any reasonable level. Jeopardy! is used in schools to exercise students in those skills and it does have a very strong pedagogical background.

What worries me about this presentation I watched today is that I see many other episodes with people not in the education profession who do amazingly well; whose breadth of knowledge is both wide and deep. Why, then, do our professional educators who go on this show appear not to have the same knowledge base and skill base? Let me hasten to say that I have watched other Jeopardy! Teachers episodes with similar results. The previous one I watched had a high school teacher also go negative with all his wrong answers and have to leave before Final Jeopardy! And anecdotally, educators seem to make relatively poorer contestants overall. I have not performed a serious study, however.

What, I wonder, is going on?

Teaching is hard! teaching below university level is harder than hard. I have done it, I have taught others how to do it, and I have researched how students learn so teachers can be able to do it well and better than it has been done before. No matter what, teaching is hard...and teachers in our K-12 grades are not even allowed to teach as much as they would prefer...they are laden with so many administrative and politically motivated responsibilities that 12-14 hour days with significant amounts of that spent working at home each evening are considered not just normal, but somehow a moral imperative. Don't put those hours in and you are considered a poor teacher, unmotivated, ill prepared for promotion, etc, etc.

But, what are we doing in educating our teachers that we seem to see less and less breadth and depth in THEIR education? At these levels, ANYONE coming from a university education should have a strong grasp of a broad range of topics. And people educated on how to teach should also know the basics of general knowledge about history, geography, language, literature, mythology, physics, math, chemistry, biology, astronomy, philosophy, ethics, theology, politics, history, culture, music, drama, and art.

Our universities have an obligation to produce teachers ready to answer questions and ready to facilitate the gathering and contextualization of information into knowledge. Some say this is not necessary. Some say teachers should be taught to teach (organize and plan lessons and present the information, and just stay a few chapters or pages ahead of the students) but I must disagree. As long as there are teachers and we do not hand over education strictly to the web, teachers must continue to be a bit of the "sage on the stage" while also being "the guide by the side". They need a solid base of knowledge at their fingertips to quickly and accurately answer questions that arise. This is particularly true of elementary, but also of high school teachers.

Now, I do not expect every bachelor-degreed teacher to be an in-depth expert in all of those subjects above. but I expect teachers-to-be to be so interested in knowledge itself that they can almost not help but absorb significant amounts of information about those topics. And I expect university courses to be designed to interestingly and effectively impart that knowledge to them. Interestingly designed and taught general studies courses should be required of teaching majors...(no, frankly, I believe they should be required of ALL majors.).

Another thing we need to do before university is to stop teaching wrong information. History classes that are more designed to indoctrinate young students in cultural values at the expense of historical accuracy need to go. Geography courses that are decades out of date and set students up with an inaccurate vision of the world outside their borders need to go. Science courses that demonstrate effects without forcing students to think about causes and implications need to go. Literature courses that avoid hard topics and worry about political correctness when teaching students who absorb vast amounts of attitude from pop culture need to go. Any courses which universities identify as having to be untaught to first year college students need to go.

The current way in which teachers are prepared to be teachers is unfair
The current way in which teachers are expected to be teachers is unfair
The current way in which society views teachers is unfair
The current way in which society values teachers is unfair

These things are not just unfair to the individual teachers involved, they are also unfair to the students they teach and to the society those students both inherit and create.

The teachers I watched on Jeopardy! today who performed so poorly may be excellent teachers in their own environments. I know nothing of them, their skills, their interests, their dreams, or their achievements (well, apparently the runner up only managed to eat 5 hot dogs in a hot dog eating contest where she was the only woman and the winner ate 42, which does indicate a certain willingness to embrace difficult challenges!)

So please do not take this as any indictment of these individuals; I am making no judgements about them as individuals. But, after watching educators perform poorly as a group in several of these Jeopardy! episodes, I have to wonder, why do educators, as a group, seem to do poorly and non-educators, as a group, seem do so much better? And why do some educators do so wildly better? Are they just outliers or is there something else going on? Training, opportunity, personality? What is making the difference? I do not believe the old adage of "those who can, do and those who can't, teach". We have no scientific evidence of that. Although we DO know that many true experts in any field make very poor educators in that field. Experts do not know and often cannot explain how they do what they do...but here we are talking about general knowledge, not deep, deep expertise in a single topic.

But they should have more knowledge at their mnemonic beck and call than they appear to have on this show.

Well, those are my thoughts. I do not usually use this blog to comment on social issues, but this one struck very close to my heart. Watching educators do so poorly on that show always bothers me and worries me. I wonder if I could have done more as a teacher myself to be sure my students walked away with a greater breadth of knowledge than just the topic of my course.

You will now be returned to your regularly scheduled latex fetish blog.
Latex Ladyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15218238153038374229noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9649129.post-51327667165028918712011-08-25T13:07:00.000-07:002011-08-27T14:49:33.354-07:00A Visit With FamilyMy word! I did not realize it had been such a long time since my last post. All the way back to April. It is amazing how time gets away from me these days. My apologies to all of you who have been asking me to write again. i shall try to be more prolific, but I plead some exhaustion from this incredible summer we have had. We will shortly pass 60 days of over 100 degree highs. Not officially as we had a day or two at the beginning of August when the official temperature only rose to 99. But Sir and I have watched our home thermometer climb into the 3 digit range every day since June 30th.

I have spent the last two months being allowed to wear only 1 layer of latex around the house many, many days and not even having to be hooded some of the time. I have also spent a considerable time in shower and tub, staying cool and being sure I am safe from heat rash and other irritants.

But last night it actually rained. We went out to dinner and noticed, as soon as we stepped out of the house, that the air smelled like rain. The sky was cobalt blue with nary a cloud in sight, but still there was the unmistakable fragrance of aerosolized moisture in the air! Sure enough, loud thunder awakened me in my vacuum bed this morning even before Sir was up to release me. And the patio was not just damp but positively wet when I went out for a little swim later.

Ah! The new vacuum bed. I love this one.I have not written of it before because Sir did not get it for me until our recent wedding anniversary (36th) last week. It is a stylish red and allows my head to emerge, covered in a black latex hood or transparent one from my skinsuit.

This makes it possible for me to sleep in it next to Sir. Just sealed in a whole body skin suit with my head protruding from the smooth, shimmering red sea of latex. Our bedsheets are black latex, which makes for a lovely contrast. This new vacbed does not hold vacuum without a constant pump (unlike our older his and her beds) but Sir placed the vacuum pump a good distance away and ran a long pool hose to the bed. This makes the noise distant enough that we can fall asleep.

Beyond the fact that my head protrudes and the face that for the first time I can directly see what my vacuumed packed body looks like in such a bed, there is little difference between this one and my other one. But it is very nice to be able to see while being packed, sealed, and restrained in it. The fact that I am sometimes even able to communicate with him is fun, but I confess, most of the time I enjoy being gagged and having him use my face and head for his fun as he stimulates me in my rubber prison.

In other news, we had Sir's sister, niece, and their friends over a while back. We did a nice Sunday dinner. Nothing special here...I was in my red burqa over a red floor length dress. I was, however, allowed to speak and eat. We had barbecue which, for me, meant a small plate with bite sized bits taken under my burqa and consumed while everyone else ate as well. We met the niece's new boyfriend who was a little disconcerted at first, but adjusted quickly. Sir's sister had a long time girlfriend with her who was also aware of my lifestyle and had even met me down in San Antonio so there was not any surprise there.

Before we ate, we all went out in the pool. I wore my blue burqa over a blue skinsuit and the water kept me cool enough, but frankly, it was still blood temperature and not very refreshing. Nonetheless, it was fun to be floating in the pool, burqa swishing around me, warm water sluicing over tight latex beneath it. I DO love swimming in latex...it is a most stimulating exercise.

Sir wore a very tight latex bermuda shorts catsuit with latex cargo shorts over it. That worked for him as he could drop the shorts and be in what was effectively a shorty wetsuit for swimming. His niece forgot to bring a suit so we loaned her a latex bodysuit of mine which fit very nicely...we are about the same size. She had never worn rubber before and was a bit skittish at first, but I pointed out all the celebrities that are wearing rubber now and that got her into it! She's quite the Gaga fan, among others!

Beyond that, our past few months have been fairly quiet with little of note. We have been going to movies to get out of the house and stay cool. We had one of three aircons fail for a week which meant that we slept in the playroom for a few nights as its A/C comes from a separate unit from that of our bedroom. It is also in the middle of the house with no windows and thus remains cooler.

We went to an interesting museum exhibit a few months ago (I can't believe I have not posted an entry since before then) and have been out to dinner several times, occasionally with friends or colleagues of Sir's. His business is continuing to grow and he looked into larger offices recently, but has made no decision. He joked about me going back to work in the office as his partner...at least I hope it was joking...I do not have much desire to return to the business world although there is something appealing about the idea of wafting up and down the corridors of his offices in a swirly rubber burqa. :)

I have been doing some writing recently. Just some stories to amuse myself. One about a submissive young man who agrees to become a bizarrely transexualized rubber maid for a couple in a society of latex aficionados.

And after watching the recent royal weddings and the batch of 1950-1960 period shows on television I began to think about a story revolving around a woman who is invited to enter the upper echelons of a very stiff, formal society ... attending galas, balls, debutante presentments, high teas, charity and political funding events, and such ... but this is not just high society she is invited into, it is rubber society and she must make some serious and permanent decisions about her lifestyle and her appearance, dress, and commitment to the etiquette she is expected to keep when she enters Rubber Society.

Sir encourages my little writing hobby, but I am not sure hat to do with them once they are finished. Many are little more than a chapter of a larger work and not even up to the standard of a short story...they are vignettes as of now, but I shall continue tweaking and pecking at them.

So this has been my long, lazy, hot, and rubbery summer. It is officially over in little more than a week (labor day) but I suspect the hot days of 2011's summer will hang on throughout most of September.

I shall attempt to accommodate in this post as, here in early April, I do have a few real world updates to provide.

First, however, let me point out that my experiences navigating and interacting with people in Second Life is no less 'real' than talking on a telephone or corresponding by mail. So, while I shall shortly regale you, dear readers, with stories of my recent trip to Los Angeles to see our son, and my past week in continuous multi-layer rubber encasement while Sir was out of town, I wish to mention and thank my friend Deirdre Young, in Second Life, for asking me to model once again with her lovely submissive partner Lelo Recreant. The two of us wore wonderful kitty-cat outfits from Latex Web in Darkadia.

The images, rendered with appropriate bits over my avatar's 'bits', are available on The Fetish Fashion Blog at
http://slfetishfashion.blogspot.com/2011/04/latex-web-inc-kitteh.html

I enjoy the opportunity to model and I love the outfit, but truth be told, I rather enjoy the more formal look of my previous outfit, the latex kimono. Nevertheless, I apparently now have one of these kitten-like outfits on order, per Sir :-)

Now, with respect to the 'Real World', a recent SL acquaintance commented on my last blog post:

Dear Lady Latex,
The last month I’ve been reading your blog from soup to nuts. I’ve noticed that people admire or criticize you to wear a burqa, though you aren’t Muslim.
So I wanted to ask you if you could ask the “world” why they wear a burqa?

Kind regards, Lilith

Which prompts me to ask the question, 'world, who wears a burqa, and why. Of course, by burqa, I mean any full body covering, worn in public, which hides the majority of the face and possibly, but not necessarily, the figure of the wearer.

This, includes fetish clothing, male or female, medical clothing such as surgical masks, and professional clothing such as clean suits or level 5 bio-suits, as well as the more traditional veiling for women in some cultures and religions. Someone stated in comments last post that wearing hoods in the workplace would never become common. I suggest it already is common in certain workplaces such as clean rooms, surgical operating rooms, and quarantine wards.

However, note that my definition above states an 'in public' criterion. So we may interpret the question, Why do you wear a burqa in public?

So please, readers, if any of you veil in public in any manner, let us know in comments to this post.

Now, my recent journey to LALA Land ... does anyone recall that?

Sir had a recent need to travel to LA on business and decided to take me along. Our son lives there and it presented another opportunity to see him and to enjoy time with he and his long time GF.

As usual, we traveled in rubber, Sir in slacks and a tee-shirt, with a rubber bomber jacket over that and I in a red rubber dress, tightly collared, long sleeved, ankle length with loose, straight skirt. A red catsuit, gloves, and knee boots completed my outfit. As usual, I wore an open faced hood beneath my burqa for the identity check and replaced it with the burqa's full face silencing hood in the ladies room inside security.

This was my first trip wearing the new metallic 'electrum' burqa Peter made for me a while back. Sir decided it has not had enough 'exposure' as he called it and decided that, even though I do not have a matching dress, i should wear it. Typically, he prefers me mono-chromatically dressed, but decided red and dark gold worked well together.

I did have to submit to the rather more intense 'pat down' which is, essentially, a frisking one step shy of a cavity search. But, to be honest, this is to be expected when one asks for a private screening anyway. I was not required to remove my dress, at least. I did have my head patted down through the latex hood, but that has been happening for years now. The screener noticed that I had no hair under the hood but said nothing about it. She did ask why all the 'plastic' and I told her I liked Lady Gaga! That actually got a bit of a laugh.

Sir opted for the pat down as well (the public one in the security line) as we both object to subjecting ourselves to x-rays unnecessarily. I wonder if, given the recent awareness of radiation limits prompted by the nuclear situation in Japan, the general public will be more or less likely to allow airport screeners to expose them to ionizing radiation. Of course, the airport devices typically emit far less than even the lowest levels being encountered by those brave people working the reactors in Japan, but Sir and I believe that as we are exposing ourselves to more radiation by flying at all, then there is no good excuse for accepting more when a pat down will suffice.

We had a couple of hours before boarding so Sir took me to an oriental restaurant in the airport and we enjoyed a light dinner. As I was still wearing the open faced red hood under the burqa, rather than the ever more constraining burqa hood, I was quite able to take a plate of Broccoli chicken under my burqa and eat it. Thus I had quite a nice dinner before I was required by Sir to seal my face up in tight fitting latex beneath the burqa's usual silencing hood.

After dining, we went to the airport lounge where we spent about an hour before boarding. I, of course, ducked into a ladies room and added the hood for my burqa, with its pepperpot eyes and no mouth, fitting tightly enough to silence me. This hood has goggle eyes just like the burqa does and they have to line up properly. I put the hood on in a stall, with the door closed, then emerged, surprising a woman at the lavatory. She stared at me as I looked in the mirror for a few moments, adjusting the burqa until it was sitting just right over the hood and then pressed the internal snap into place, securing the burqa to the hood. The snap prevents the burqa from sliding out of place and obscuring my vision.

The electrum burqa also has a third piece, a headpiece with niqab and just a slit for vision. I sometimes wear it either under or over the burqa to limit my vision further. However, for a flight I did not do so as it does tend to slip a bit and does not work inside the burqa when i am wearing the snap in hood.

Once everything was in place I glanced over at the woman, who was in her forties, tall, titian haired and quite nicely dressed in a Chanel traveling suit, nodded once and then left the restroom to rejoin Sir, who I found munching on cookies and a cup of coffee from the bar. He tolerated me brushing sugar cookie crumbs from his black rubber tee-shirt quite well, I must say. Have you ever noticed how amazingly messy sugar cookies are around rubber? I thin it must be the static charge.

I did notice the woman come out of the ladies room after me and she looked around until she saw me, then headed at an angle to join her fellow traveller, probably her husband. She still looked a bit flustered.

We travelled in first class so we had the two seats to ourselves. The trip was uneventful and we were met at LAX baggage by our son and his girlfriend. They took us to our hotel and we got checked in, then the four of us went to a very nice Beverly Hills restaurant for dinner. I was allowed to wear a hood with an open mouth so i could converse with son and his g/f over dinner.

I changed before we went out to dinner into my lovely blue dress with the ruffled bust, cuffs, and the very tight waist. That, under the blue burqa but with a hood with a mouth and blue gloves and boots completed my outfit. LA was warm, but nothing like the Texas weather has been. My corset, under the dress was a nice matching blue and Sir did me up quite tightly, but comfortably.

Sir added a jacket to his outfit. Our son was in black jeans and shirt as well and his g/f was in her cute rubber sailor moon outfit as I call it.

We had a lovely dinner and yes, saw two or three celebrity people also dining at the restaurant. We had a certain number of looks as we came in and were seated, but no one said anything to us and the wait staff were completely professional. Sir and our son had steak, I had lamb (braised, off the bone...nice bite sized pieces), and the g/f had fish.. One thing I have learned is that gravy and rubber hoods do not go too well together, but I managed by cutting my meat into very small pieces. I did this before taking the plate under my burqa and son snapped a photo of my blue gloved arms emerging from the burqa, knife and fork in hand, slicing into the very tasty lamb.

After dinner we strolled the area a bit, a large, european style town square lined with boutiques and shops. I bought a few things and then we headed back to the hotel. it was a wonderful night and we do not get to catch up with Son often enough. LA does get a bit chill after dark but with three layers of rubber I did not feel it. His g/f, however, did begin to get chilled and at one point she and I were walking with me wrapping her up in my burqa as we headed for the car. I am just as glad that we do NOT have a picture of that! :-)

The following day Sir had meetings and I stayed in the suite. Son came over by himself and took me to a nearby bistro for lunch and we chatted about his life, his plans, his new car and my growing desire for GRANDCHILDREN! This last is an ongoing bit of humor between us as he knows I would love to have some and he has no plans to make any!

Later, he took me back to the hotel. Sir and I had a quiet dinner in the hotel and prepared to return to Texas the following morning. For the flight home, I wore white. My white catsuit, dress, boots and gloves all under a new white burqa. We had no issues at the airport and saw two other women in full veil behind security. They were apparently headed for Dubai, based on the gate they were at. They saw me walking down the concourse and we nodded at each other, but did not speak. Our gate was some distance away.

The plane flight was uneventful. No holes appeared in our plane, and we arrived to a quite cool day here in TX.

All in all, a nice, though short, visit with the chance to say hello to our son.

That is about all for the moment ... nothing to exciting, but that is life.

Upon returning, the following weekend, we went to see the new movie Sucker Punch. Now that was intriguing.
We are having a very nice winter with rather more cold, ice, and snow than usual this month. But not the foot of snow we had in february last year.

We have done very little in the way of shopping or outings. The cold certainly makes latex dressing a bit of a challenge and I am routinely wearing three layers around the house...a total enclosure skin-suit in transparent rubber, a catsuit over that, and a dress over it all.

We did go see Tron: Legacy at the cinema...a fun flick with better story I think than the original. I was in my blue burqa with the two eyes which limits my vision a bit. We did not partake of 3D ... Not sure how that would work for me. I was able, however, to follow the story and the visuals are quite stunning. I love some of the costumes ... very dramatic and fetishy...I wonder how much the rest of the audience recognized that aspect. beneath my burqa I was in a long blue dress and a very tight, full enclosure blue tinted transparent skin-suit. AndI was, of course, silenced by the burqa's metallic blue latex hood which also has pepper-pot eyes to limit my vision further.

The new burqa which I have mentioned in other posts is more of a bronze electrum colour than platinum and Sir thinks it will be more interesting as a springtime outfit. So I hope to have some photos of it in a few weeks when the temperature starts back up.

I have been spending a lot of time in Second Life and have made some new friends. However, I mentioned Deirdre Young in my previous post and she and I met up again the other day at the Powers of Creation store. I was contemplating several new transparent latex full enclosure suits they are offering for avatars. I had just found a gorgeous latex kimono at Latex Web, inc. and was wearing it with a very nice Oiran hair. Deirdre suggested I model for her.

One thing led to another and a few minutes later (with Sir's enthusiastic permission) I was in her studio space and being posed on a wonderful stand crafted by Lelo. I have included some of the photos she let me have here. <img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 182px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAuiOgHpRBKx2fwbn0U2WfaoiIANvdfdoibS0wovzS18o9sR-NotDm3EPJTv99qsUGQhxOgqabcQnCIXqlYKLh152zKVQ-6-PEtcEe4NF-4i9d97evwpHHd_oUSqqUcKrzpguRhw/s320/lady_kimono04.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5571390267887785890" />

I believe she will publish some others in her Second Life Fetish Fashion Blog soon. I think the kimono is one of the best in SL and the inclusion of Geta really completes the outfit. The hairpins are an extra item, but they were from Latex Web as well.
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 127px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzGQYAah2TEkB_Pn8kzDcYVheg0kJ8Rb1R1rsPMQ1NTztpLmqVEjHpM6hlWgh9d865X_XMlafsHKfenDKsX10uU-YQfXR1nSJ4ViO3JiGTYXEUN2GZF0yLfvGAYQdzhA1D4y5mFQ/s320/lady_kimono01.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5571390115745797890" />

Not much else has been happening, as I said earlier. We have been resting up after Christmas and had absolutely no intention of getting out in the Ice this past week. Nor did we go to the SuperBowl, an event which has no attraction for Sir, whatsoever. I have been working on a gift for my sister, a new embroidery project. Doing needlework in gloves is challenging, let me state categorically!

And so I shall close this little posting. I hope everyone enjoys the images of my Second Life Avatar, latexladyll galicia.

LadyLatex Ladyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15218238153038374229noreply@blogger.com14tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9649129.post-79658378099668349942010-12-12T16:42:00.000-08:002010-12-12T17:27:37.118-08:00A New Friend in Second LifeI wanted to take a moment to mention that I have been back in Second Life a lot lately. I have been away for a few months, hardly ever signing on or going in-world. But I began to log in a bit more in the last month and Sir instructed me to update my wardrobe and my look. All of which translates into

SHOPPING SPREE!

I have been acquiring, at his behest, a significantly broader SL wardrobe and adopting a bit edgier (his term) look for my avatar, LatexLadyll Galicia. Of course the items are latex and I do still try to exercise a certain restraint in terms of fashion, looking for gowns and dresses, but I have added a ridiculous number of new items to my inventory in the past month. These include

Catsuits ... with the new V2 Tattoo layer, catsuits really are second skins, not first...and they fit nicely under more elaborate outfits.

Gowns ... There are more and more designers in SL making great latex gowns and formals

Hair ... I have upgraded my hair from the simple Betty Page style I have used for a couple years to include longer and more elaborate styles ... including some that go well with my kimonos and also with a more edgy look. Modesty Blaise was always another one of my favorite characters and I found some lovely Up-Dos that remind me of her

SHOES!!! ... it is amazing how many new pairs of shoes and boots I have purchased this month. Sir sent me specifically looking for thigh highs and for unusual stylings to go with my new-found look. Coincidentally, we have been shoe shopping in RL as well and I have acquired several new pairs in the real world as well as Second Life.

I have been much aided in these shopping endeavors by my recent re-discovery of the Second Life Fetish Fashion Blog by Deirdre Young and Lelo Recreant (http://slfetishfashion.blogspot.com/) . Although I had a whole list of usual shops that I frequent, these two fine young journalists provided me with a wonderful collection of new and different places to spend those Lindens.

A recent posting by these two led me back to House of Alisha and Alisha Ultisch. She has produced some amazing new latex restrictive and ethnic fashions including a new latex abaya with full veils (she had already made me several burqas), and an extravagant evening gown with layers of veiling which includes optional robotic handmaids.

I acquired the abaya and veils, and I am keeping my fingers crossed for the evening gown from Sir! it IS gift giving season, after all. So, even though I am seen more and more in long leggy catsuits, jackets, and other fetish gear, i can still retreat to a soft enveloping burqa from time to time. Her latest creation complements my new one in RL from Peter. I usually wear the one while I prance around in SL in the other. Those V2 features such as outfits and tattoo layer come in very handy as well ... As i am in RL, I can now be fully dressed in heavy restriction in SL while veiled most modestly in a burqa, khimar, or niqab and abaya

All of this is a digression however. I wanted to say that after I chatted with Alisha a bit, she mentioned Deirdre and Lelo to me and gave me an introduction. This led to me spending a lovely 90 minutes chatting with Deirdre (Lelo was present, but appropriately quiet as Deirdre's sub). The chat ranged all over the map but I can certainly say that this is one of the most intelligent, articulate, and fascinating persons I have met in SL. I heartily recommend the blog as both a wonderful reference and guide to fetish fashion in SL as well as an interesting insight into the thought processes of a pair of self reflective fetishists. The two ladies are fascinating to read and you can get a better sense of what real D/s relations look like both n RL and SL by just reading between the lines of their blog.

Well, SL aside, in the real world we have been quite busy the past month

Of course there is the usual seasonal decorating going on and we have our tree, lights, wreaths, and other decorations up. I have been embroidering christmas ornaments for years and we used only those on the tree this year. Nonetheless, we had too many so we donated a box of them to a local charity needing christmas decorations. We also chose our angel tree children from a tree at the mall ... Yes, I DID get a few odd looks picking out angel tree names from a tree while fully veiled in a bright red latex burqa...such fun.

I have been wearing the red one more and more lately because it is the most festive looking and I do enjoy this season. I presume most people have seen the latest photos Sir let me upload to Flickr which he took while we were out to lunch one day in November.

We've done our Christmas shopping and i have acquired some nice gifts for him. Shopping by myself in the mall is always an interesting experience...still exciting even after these last few years. However, if anything, shop clerks and people were more helpful than usual.

We have also been entertaining friends and visitors here in the past month. Our friends from Switzerland passed through for a weekend and it was great to see them. We also drove down to see his family in San Antonio for Thanksgiving. The weather was just incredible. A bit cool, but fine for walking around the shopping center and dining on thie patio the first night.

So, a usual Christmas season and a very enjoyable time lately.

Happy Holidays to everyone and I will write again soon
LadyLatex Ladyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15218238153038374229noreply@blogger.com9
