Four Months - and I can Talk Again

I do apologize to everyone. I have been terribly lax in writing for the last three weeks. My only excuse is laziness, I'm afraid. Well, there were those several days in immobilized bondage, but I should have found the time.

Let me bring you up to date:

1) I am finishing my 4th month, still encased 23/7. Everything is fine and, due to the extended rainy and cool weather here in San Jose, I have had no heat issues. I expected to be encountering warm weather problems by now, but we've been lucky.

2) I have travelled, recently, to Washington, DC with Sir and we had a nice little stay and visited my parents again (they live in Maryland). I am happy to report that they are more comfortable with my lifestyle choice. My father is still a bit leary, but he was very pleasant and seemed much more at ease with my mode of dress. My mother escorted me to Georgetown center for some shopping one day and we had no problems with me being in a burqa.

3) I DID spend a few days in some very severe bondage as Sir wanted to experiment with how long I could tolerate immobility. It was interesting and after a while quite pleasurable. I was left completely encased fo rthose three days, never allowed to remove my skin suit and not bathed. I was fed and watered (rather like a plant) by maid and she also massaged my muscles to keep me from being too stiff.

During that little experiment I was bound to a leather upholstered Coubosier recliner and it was laid back at bedtime for me to sleep. I had some difficulty the first day with cramps after about 6 hours, but maid massaged those away and then after the first night I became very accustomed to not moving. For those of you interested in the plumbing issues, yes I was "medically managed" with regards to waste. When I was released and bathed, I was a bit red in places like my shins and inner elbows, but it cleared right up after a long bath and fresh emoulients.

4) Sir is returning to the UK sometime this summer and may be taking me along, he hasn't decided yet. He will be in Europe in early May and I will be here in SJ, but that is not unusual.

5) I find it very odd to be ungagged when out in public now. As I wrote last time, Sir now allows me to go out ungagged after my hundredth day in total enclosure, unless he decides for me to wear one. So suddenly I can speak to the woman at the bookstore when I purchase something or I can chat with my parents when we are at dinner. But I find it very odd sometimes and I confess, I still gag myself on occassion just because it now feels more natural to do so. Sir laughs and generally allows me to silence myself if I wish.

Nothing much more has happened these last three weeks. The neighbors are used to me now and I actually had a conversation with the woman who lives next door. She was a bit uncomfortable talking to someone covered in a white burqa at first, but after 10 minutes or so, we were pretty much over the shock and awe stage.

I am noticing that people have a bit of trouble talking to someone who is talking to them from beneath a viel lik ethis. They don't seem to know when to start responding...rather the way some telephone conversatiosn are stilted because the parties are not in sync timing wise. I'll speak, then I'll wait for them to respond, but by the time they do I have given up and start to speak again. I suspect it is the lack of visual stimulation they recieve from my burqa. No facial cues to trigger their repsonses from. I wonder if it is an issue in Muslim communities that veil heavily or does everyone adapt after a while.

I ordered a coffee at a cafe the other day and it took twice as long because the man behind the counter couldn't seem to get all the questions out in a timely manner.

Well, must go now. Please sned me comments and questions. I love reading them and I promise to be quicker about posting. It is interesting, but I have received only 1 negative comment on my lifestyle change in the last 4 months. Everyone who has read this blog (and its copy) have been most supportive...even the skeptical ones have urged me to continue. I am very grateful for the support.

My First Hundred Days - A Celebration and a Change

Wow!
What a weekend. I was going to blog this yesterday, but just couldn't work up the energy for all this typing. The weekend was, to put it mildly, fantastic!

Looking back, I was quite tired and a bit strange in my previous post. Just one of those odd days. But, this past weekend has been glorious.

First, we had a visit from our friends from Zurich and Dallas. This is a very kinky couple we've known for years, but had not seen since we came to California. They are both dominant, very much into latex (although not exclusively), and wonderful friends. They also have a maid and they brought her with them, so there were 6 of us in the house this weekend and it was almost non-stop scenes. By Monday afternoon when they had to leave, I was exhausted...but VERY relaxed !

Secondly, to celebrate 100 days in latex enclosure (yesterday), Sir has decided that I no longer have to be gagged in public. I may wear a gag at my discretion or not unless he has a preference. So Dark, my dear friend, worry not, I will once again be able to communicate with people on the street!

Let me describe our weekend.
Our friends arrived by car as they are touring the Northern California wine country. They showed up Friday evening and joined us for dinner. Marie was dressed in a lovely leather skirt and vest and Kermit (her husband) was already rubbered up in a catsuit beneath his leather slacks and a nice leather bomber jacket.

Their driver and maid is a young girl named Laura or about 24 or 25...I believe she is a little younger than maid) and she was in a rubber military style jacket and skirt (from Libidex or Murray and Vern, I believe) so she was effectively in chaffeur livery.

They arrived in the early evening before dinner and we all went out to dinner leaving the maids at home. M & K are very dominant and Marie in particular is quite sadistic. Let me just say that maid and Laura were left alone, but very decidely attached to each other.

I, of course, was still in my burqa but this was when Sir surprised me with the OK to go out ungagged. Consequently, we were able to have a wonderful conversation and catch up on things as we ate. Yes, I ate too...finger foods that I could bring up under the burqa to my mouth.

After dinner, we went back to the house and Marie played with me and maid in her rather inimitable style. Suffice it to say that breath play, suspension, and riding crops were all in use. The men played with Laura who is quite enthusiastic and submissive and, while bisexual, leans more toward men than women. I think she got the easier ordeal .

Sleeping arrangements were fairly standard, except that maid and Laura were bound together to sleep in maid's bed. Maid is usually not in bondage for bed since she has to be up first. However, it was a special night for both of them.

Saturday morning we traded maids and Laura had the fun job of bathing me while maid tended to Marie's needs. However, Kermit is used to being bathed and dressed and servied by Laura as well, so that job fell to ME! For this duty, I was put into a second catsuit and a condom hood so he could use me orally if he chose while I was washing and dressing him. He so chose!

Later, after breaksfast and another session in the playroom we lounged around until M & K decided they wanted to go shopping. I accompanied them, but Sir and the maids stayed at home. We went out to a mall and to a nice shopping street they have here.

It was VERY strange to be able to go up to the counter at the bookstore and ask the man there about a book I wanted. I haven't spoken outside the house for over 3 months!

He was obviously a little leary of me in burqa and I'm sure he recognized it as latex, but he led me back to the right section and plucked it off the shelf for me. When he handed it to me, he made sure to touch my hand (red gloves that day) and stroked it just a little more than he really needed to.

That evening, Laura made dinner for us with help from maid. I was back in heavy bondage and gag for dinner so I was tube fed liquid by maid while everyon eelse at table enjoyed steak.

After dinner, the Dom(me)s watched a rather hardcore dvd M & K had brought with them from Europe while we three subs were put into service pleasing them. This basically entialed kneeling between their legs and keeping them happy as the DVD played. Kermit took me and Marie took maid while Sir got
Laura. Marie, as I said is more sadistic than Kermit and she used her riding crop extensively on maid during the first half of the movie. Then sh edemanded to trade with Kermit so I was exchanged for maid. That also necessitated a change in hood as a condom hood doesn't work well with her !

Sunday, we again lounged around, went to see Sahara later as a group of 6. This time, however, maid and I were both gagged and burqa'd while Laura was chaffeur girl. I was in white and maid was in black and beneath them we were both in very heavy bondage with our arms bound behind our backs and not allowed to wear dresses over our skinsuits, just a second catsuit.

Sunday lunch was at a restaurant before the movie, but both maids were left in the auto. I sat in my usual manner, close to Sir and gagged while they chatted. Kermit was rather dismissive of the wine country and the vineyards they had visited in Sonoma. But he's used to European wines.

Sunday dinner was similar to Saturday except that maid did the cooking and we all had that grand old dish that nearly destroyed me a few months ago...chicken fried steak! M & K have lived in Dallas long enough to de velop a taste for it and it's not that different from a schnitzel.

Sunday evening was another round of sessions. I was bound into a very interesting position with maid and we re-enacted our gasmask and shared breathing scene where we are running out of air while stimulating each other to orgasm. Sir and Kermit placed bets. Marie was too busy making it more "interesting" for us with her favorite whip. I won which meant that maid and Laura got to be the next contestants. I'm happy to say that maid won that one.

Winning means you're the first to come before blacking out.

Sunday night, I slept with Marie and she was, shall we say, most demanding. Kermit had maid and Sir had Laura. consequently, none of us rose early on Monday. However, M & K had to be on their way and were loaded up and back in their auto by 3pm. Laura and maid had quite a time cleanign and polishing the toys they had brogught and laura was orde3red to help maid make sure the playroom was all in order.

Sir, M & K and I chatted while that was going on, then they piled into the car and headed off to SF for a couple of days and a flight back to Zurich. quite honestly, Sir, maid, and I did absolutely nothing else Sunday evening excpet play a game of scrabble...then bed. We were all completely worn out...but it was a VERY fun weekend.

Just FYI, Yes, I maintained full enclosure and kept th eprotocol during the whole time M & K visited. There were times I was 'naked' menaing only in my skinsuit, but never anything less than that. K & M both brought some wonderful latex outfits with them and she wore a beautiful purple dress, very tight and just above the knee on Saturday when we were out. kermit usually wears latex under leather out in public as does Sir much of the time.

I was gagged a lot, but had plenty of time to sit and chat with them and I wasn't gagged at tall while Marie and I were together Sunday night. In fact, we stayed up late and caught up on a lot of girl talk after the rest of the house was asleep.

This morning, however, I really wanted to be gagegd again for the day, so I have spent the entire day in the house with a closed mouth hood and a mouth covering posture collar on. It just feels so strange to think I can go outside and tal to people. But I'm sure it will come back to me...like riding a bicycle.

That's it for my 100th day blog.

Just a Short Note

Nothing very interesting the past few days. We went out to see Sin City the other day. very violent, but it was intersting watching it in several layers of rubber. I must confess that it was quite arousing in some ways.

Other than that, I've been keeping well. I was thinkng the other day that I am becoming subsumed into my new role. That I am sort of dissolving into my covers. I don't think it is soecifically because of the latex, but rather because of the covering, the gagging, and the the fact that my face is hidden for so long.

I have found myself remianing gagged afte we retunr fom an outing for longer and longer periods. It feels right and Sir does not object.

After the movie, we walked aorund a farmer's market and I bought some fruit. Maid will make a liquid smoothie from them. But I was staring at it wondering what it would be like to stop eating altogether, to have all my food pumped in and just remain gagged. Weird thoughts.

It is geting warmer now and walking in the daytime out of th ehouse is a bit more intense. So far I don't mind, but Sir insists that we watch it carefully and particularly has ordered maid to make sure my face does not suffer. He says I may be going out nude under hte burqa. By that he means oinly the transparent skin suit, not a second layer of a dress.

I did have a little girl walk up to me as we were leaving the theater and ask me what I was wearing. Rather than just ignore her I stopped and squatted down and held a fold of the burqa out to her. she touched it and smiled then ran back to a VERY watchful mum yelling, "mommy, she's wearing a balloon!" at the top of her lungs.

We have some friends coming to visit us this weekend. They are very much aware of my situation, so there won't be any issues there.

That's all for now.

Day 90 -- Learning to be Human...in Rubber

Well, this is something of a crossroads.

Tomorrow, April 1, will be my 90th day in total enclosure. I wanted to recap a bit, then proceed a bit to explain the title.

I have now been enclosed fully in latex for 90 days. My head, face, hands, feet, and body are covered at all times except for an hour or so each day when I bathe. During that time I am bathing in a bathtub lined with a latex sheet, so I never touch anything but latex or water. We follow a special protocol that insures that I never see myself uncovered; there is at least a mediating layer of transparent latex between me and the world at all times.

My "skinsuits", as I call them, are transparent, thin latex catsuits with attached hoods, feet, and gloves. These are changed daily and they form the fundamental barrier between me and the world. Over a skinsuit, I wear catsuits, corset, stockings, dresses, boots, hoods, gloves, or anything else my Dom husband, Sir, orders. Typically, around the house, I wear a corset, a second, opaque hood, a second pair of gloves, and a long sleeved, full covering dress, ankle length.

When I go out in public, I am dressed in these multiple layers and then covered with a rubber burqa in the afghani style. I now have a black and a white one. The burqa is a socially acceptable manner for me to appear in public with a covered face. Under it I may be wearing an inflatable hood with nose tubes and gag and I may be restrained in armbinders, hobbles, or chains. It is all up to Sir. I am not allowed to speak in public and this is enforced with gags everytime I leave the house. I am quite often not allowed to speak in the house eiuther and went for a week blindfolded and gagged while Sir was out of town.

We have a live-in rubber maid who has been with us for over two years now and she attends to my needs in aid of this experiment in endurance and enclosure. hse wears latex maid uniforms (english or French) all the time, but does not cover her face with hoods ALL the time and does not have to sleep in latex everynight. She is submissive to both me nd to Sir and we love her dearly. She is a natural female, 26, and experienced in living a submissive latex life. hse has just agreed to stay with us another two years, at least. We call her maid.

maid is responsible for bathing me, dressing and undressing me, insuring I am well cared for in terms of my skin and health and also for doing the laundry, housecleaning, and cooking for us. she is the only person, myself included, who has seen my body and face uncovered in the last 90 days.

So, in 3 months, neither my husband nor I have seen my face or any part of my body without at least one layer of latex covering me. In fact, Sir has not seen my face even through transparent latex in over two months as he decided that I should be covered in an opaque hood at all times except bathing and he doesn't intrude upon me then.

More details of our protocol, how I avoid skin issues, me having a cold in a rubber hood, and my disastrous attempt at cooking in latex, as well as other day to day issues of living a life in rubber can be found in other entries in this blog. I just wanted to bring new readers up to date and to recap where we stand.

I now venture out in public quite often with or without Sir. maid accompanies me and is either dressed in her uniform or is covered by my spare burqa...We need to acquire one for her I suppose. I have actually gone out on my own when I could walk to my destination. A gag sits on a table by our front door and the burqas hang on hooks next to it, so I never forget to cover properly before leaving the house. Our neighbors have grown used to seeing me step out with Sir and maid and climb into the car, fully covered, but they have no idea how boud and restrained I am beneath the latex shroud of my burqa.

Just the other day I was out walking, alone, when I saw four muslim women emerge from a museum with their children in tow. They were all four covered and veiled completely, in niqabs and abayas. I was across the street in my burqa and we just looked at each other for a moment and nodded. Of course, they had no way of knowing I was gagged, but i wasn't heavily restrained that day.

My life has settled into a very comfortable routine of daily care, sessions with Sir and with maid (we share a fairly kinky lovelife together) and simple things like blogging, reading, knitting and embrodering, watching TV, chatting with friends on the web, etc.

Of course, I have also travelled a bit recently and am anticipating more trips soon. sir has determiend how to take me in full cover to other countries and other cities and we've had quite a nice few trips in the past 3 months.

What I realized a while back was that i was learning how to be a normal human being with regular interests, activities, and lifestyle while being covered and almost always silent. It has been a revelation to me. I no longer consider my latex life style to be at all unuusal. I would feel completely naked if i were to even venture out of the bathroom without at least a hood and a long rubber dress on over my skinsuit.

I am loving the submissive nature of this existence and the kinky play that goes with it. But I am also coming to realize that I am losing any sense of novelty about it. I have to force myself to notice the unusual aspects of my life sometimes...they ARE unusual, but they no longer seem so to me. I suspect this is similar to someone who loses their sight or hearing and adapts over a period of time to their new circumstance...someone who reflexively reaches for their cane or their dog's harness thae way I do for my gag and burqa.

Well, those are my thougths for 90 days into the experiment. I hope everyone is having as much fun reading about it as I am living it.

Life in Latex -- With a Cold

What a week.

I have not kept up this blog for several days because I have been in bed much of this week with a head cold. Only today have I begun to feel good enough again to actually spend some time typing.

So how does one live in rubber and have a cold? I am always almost completely covered, often wearing a gas mask, HOW did I ever catch a cold?

I don't know, but let me say it is NOT a pretty experience.

The messy part, of course, was the sneezing. And Sunday and Monday, the sneezing was terrible, frequent, and gross. I shan't go into much more detail except to say that despite the rather elaborate results of sniffles and sneezes in a full enclosure hood, I remained true to my goal of staying covered.

Maid had her hands full, however, since my refusal to give in to a silly virus and abandon almost 3 months of enclosure meant that I had to have my skin suit, the transparent full enclosure suit I wear all the time, changed at least three times a day.

Sir was most supportive. He left it up to me as to whether I would abandon the experiment or continue to persevere. He also made it clear that if it looked like developing into something more serious we would quit. But this cold never even moved all the way into my chest.

As you know, I have several transparent skin suits as I call them and I am put into a freshly laundered one each morning. Well Sunday and Monday I was put into a freshly laundered one three times each day. Maid was a wonder, helping me change, helping me soak myself in a warm, rubber lined tub, then bringing in a suit she had just cleaned and dried and slipping me into it. And she has remained gas masked and filtered during all that so as no tto contract it herself.

By Tuesday, the sneezing and concomitant fluidic ejaculations (not the fun kind you understand) had ceased and I merely felt miserable. I was sore, stopped up, doped up on cough and cold medicine, and generally no fun to be around.

Maid and Sir conferred, and I have spent the last three days in confinement and bondage...again, not the fun kind...I was ordered to stay in bed, still rubbered and covered in latex sheets and duvet, my stuffy head floating on three latex pillows, and to get better.

Maid fed me, Sir held me, they pushed fluids into me and helped me push fluids out and I spent three days virutally a prisoner of my own rubber cocoon.

If I had felt better, it would have been heaven. In fact, as soon as I am recovered I want to do it again...without the aches, pains, cough, and inflated head. Because, when I look back at the last three days, all but chained to my bed, I realize just how nice and comfy and warm and cozy it was being in rubber bedrest for three days!

We did discover that an inflatable hood makes a stuffy head feel better...as long as you can at least breathe. But sneezing into a gas mask is just gross!

So, today, I am still a bit stuffy, but feel 1000% better and have come downstairs for the first time in a while. I am sitting here sipping a nice hot cup of soup (I developed a craving for chili while I was most ill), and blogging this little experience for the rest of you.

In the end, there was little difference between having a cold while encased in three layers of latex and having a cold wearing silk pyjamas. Except for the sneezing. I actually got pretty good at slipping tissues under my hood through the mouth hole and over my nose before I blew. But the pressure changes on my ears were not fun.

I have been un corsetted for three days which felt most odd. But today I am back in my little rubber corset (lavender) and lavender skin suit with a black dress over all that. I feel much better now and do not expect to have to change this suit until tomorrow's bath.

Quite honestly, while my first reaction Sunday was that a cold was going to be hell to bear with latex all over me, I have found that I had very little desire to remove my rubber. It is so second nature to me now that I really only feel comfortable with a couple of layers on. I was snuggling down deep in my little rubber cocoon bed and actually slept quite a lot over the last few days, feelig most protected and comforted.

I'm going to watch some TV now and then go back to bed...even this little bit of typing has tired me, but be assured, I am recovering.

See at last, See at last

Ah, light

Light is...painfully bright he first time you see it in a week.

Sir returned last night. maid drove me to the airport, took me into the terminal to wait for him and then, per his orders, left me standing netxt to a wall, burqa'd, gagged and blinded by my hoods. The gag for Wednesday's little journey was not just a thin layer of latex over my mouth to remind me not to speak. It was a blowup gag complete with inflator bulb dangling under mu burqa.

I stood next to a wall and just waited. I was in some fairly heavy bondge under there...not able to move much because of a chain from my wrists to my ankles and hobbled by a long tight skirt. It took forever just to walk from the parking garage to inside the terminal.

Maid was dressed in her english maid uniform with no hood, so she looked fairly 'normal' to be guiding someone who probably looked like a frail old woman under a burqa.

I waited for what seemed like forever for Sir to come get me. In reality, maid said later it was only about ten minutes. I felt someone take my arm, and then he said, "let's go" and I knew I was OK. Just a small heart attack.

He walked me back to the car where maid was waiting and then we drove home. Nothing special except me being trembling with fear and excitement. At home he and I went upstairs to our room and got reaquainted for a while :)

When maid announced supper, he led me downstairs and slowly took off my hood and gag. Fortunately, the lights were dim in the dining room. Even the candle flames hurt as I tried to blink vision back into focus. But over half an hour it got better and I was wonderfully pleased with being able to see again.

I'm not sure I want to do that again...a week blind and gagged was tough (although I found I had little to say after a week of silence and mumbled communication with maid). but it was an experience and it was interesting to see how restricting my sight could be a form of bondage too.

I will say that seeing him in his catsuit and hood and gasmask when he first took mine off was about as erotic a moment as I could stand. There is just something so kinky about coming out of the dark to see a tall rubbered man in front of you...whew!

Took me til tonight to feel I could sit and write by myself. So, that's it for now. More later.

A Trip to the Zoo

Still hooded with no sight or voice. wearing the thin hood with no eyes or mouth again today, but with a standard full face hood with eyes and mouth over it. A bit tight with three layers on my face, but it's OK. Makes it a bit tougher to communicate with maid.

We went to the Zoo earlier today. It was a fun time. I was in my white burqa, of course, and maid put my black rubber one on after we arrived. She can't drive in the burqa. I couldn't see, but I could hear the animals and maid led me around like a blind friend.

We apparently caused a bit of a sensation, our rubber burqas billowing in the wind. Maid says some people watched us more than the animals. But everyone was polite and we had a nice hour or so out in the warm sun. It felt great on my burqa and my hood and fresh air was good.

Have not done much else this week, obviously. I have to meet Sir at the airport on Wednesday and I am a bit tense about that. Maid will take me to the meeting area, but I'll have to just stand there until he comes up to guide me to the car. Hope there aren't two burqa'd women waiting on husbands...a true comedy could ensue :)

That's about it for now

My Latest Challenge -- Bound and Blind for a week

I am not typing this. Maid is typing what I dictate to her. The reason for this is that I cannot see the keyboard.

When he left for Europe for a week, Sir left instructions for me to be kept hooded, occluded, and gagged for the entire week. In addition, I am in some extensive bondage each day. he is calling home each day and leaving instructions as to my 'wardrobe' for the following day.

A couple of days ago this involved a hood with no eyes and a blowup gag worn all day while I was also in bondage that kept me from using my hands or moving about freely (like I was going to do so when i can't see). That day I could not even dictate entries for maid to type.

Yesterday and today he has allowed me to wear just a thin eyeless and mouthless hood which means that, with effort, I can make enough intelligible noise that maid can type what I say. I actually chatted with some friends like this yesterday and will again later today. But I was tightly bound with my hands behind my back all day yesterday and spent severl hours in our suspension rig the day before.

Yes, I am being fed. And I am not sleeping with a gag down my throat...just this smooth hood.

And I am still following my hygiene protocol so there is about an hour a day when I am not so thoroughly sealed. But let me tell you, being blind for 23 hours a day is quite enough. I don't mind the gagging. I have become quite used to long term gagging. I have not spoken to anyone outside my home for almost three months now. But to spend all my time in darkness makes me certain I will truly appreciate the light when I see it again.

The sense of total helpless ness is extreme. Maid leads me around from room to room and I am spending a lot of time in bondage in our playroom, meditating. she also plays music through the house and this helps pass the time, as do our sessions together.

But not knowing what is coming is very exciting and I love the sense of anticipation. I wonder what I will have to experience tomorrow.

Ataraxia has asked that I discuss my motivations for this experiment. I have procrastinated because it is hard to describe motivation honestly...sometimes we don't really know. But the past few days of enforced mediation has given me time to consider.

I am involved in my lifestyle because of several things
1) I love Sir and he wants me to do this
2) I love submission and want to be in a submissive condition
3) It is terribly sexy and exciting...right up there with roller coasters
4) It is transgressive and I love to shock. I actually do revel in the looks I get out in the burqa
5) I love the feel of the rubber and want to know if I CAN do this
6) I want to experience objectification...being psychologically reduced to a sort of barbie doll
7) I'm almost 50 and having the most intense orgasms I've had in years :)
8) I love the weirdness of it all.
9) I love Sir and he wants me to do this

Ataraxia, does that help?

Day 60+ - Normal Life in Latex

I have been remiss in keeping this blog up to date because I have been just a bit lazy the past week. Sir has been away on business and I have been, to put it mildly, lethargic and low on energy. But he returns tonight and I am looking forward to that. Hence, I find my energy level improved.

I must say I was very impressed and surprised with the amount of replies and postings to my last entry about privacy being another possible reason to mask. For the record, I was not advocating that everyone do it or that it be mandatory...I was just speculating that a fashion for doing it might arise, partially in response to increased surveillance.

March 2 was my 60th day in full enclosure. Everything is fine and I am still experiencing no significant issues. I am following the protocol Sir established and everything seems well. Had a bit of excitement on Tuesday...finally put a tear in one of my skin suits...knew that was going to happen. So we had to handle that, but the only trauma was that I really liked that transparent blue suit and now I will have to get another.

Wednesday, we were supposed to go out to a movie, but I decided not to at the last minute. Just not interested. Did have a fun evening with maid and we had a wonderful dinner, then Thursday we went out shopping in the mall and for groceries.

We had a bit of fun looking at skimpy bathing suits and short skirts...me in burqa, she in French maid's uniform. The folks at the local goth shop thought we were a hoot.

Had a session later in the playroom with me in vac bed. maid loves to play with it. Very relaxing and soothing. Then spent Friday just wandering around the house and out in the yard a bit. I get lonely without Sir, even with maid.

He will likely be too tired this evening when he returns to play much, but I've got some ideas on how to greet him. And anticipation is making me feel much more awake.

Closing for now

Another Reason to Mask

I've obviously been interested in the implications of covering your face in public. I did some research and just came across this by Christopher Slobogin, the Stephen C. O'Connell Professor of Law, University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law.

In London, police say that every worker or shopper is caught on
at least 300 cameras every day.

[In the United States] the security
industry estimates that more than 2 million surveillance
cameras are in use across the country. In Manhattan in 1998,
volunteers counted 2,400 electronic eyes in public places used to
catch everything from red-light runners at traffic intersections,
shoplifters outside grocery and department stores, and drug
sellers loitering near lampposts.

One can imagine that out of a desire to protect our privacy, more and more people choose to hide their faces in public whether by vailes, hoods, or masks of some variety. While it is illegal in some countries, it may become popular enough that laws are forced to change.

So maybe we rubberists that enjoy masks and hoods are the vanguard in a new privacy movement...wouldn't that be an intersting turn of the screw?

UK Adventures...London...weekend shopping

As promised, here are some more tales of our recent trip to London.

When we returned to London from Bath it was cold and windy. Again, taking the taxi from Paddington to our hotel was no problem and we had no issues checking in. The hotel we stay at is quite used to having Saudis and their wives as well as a wide variety of other world travellers. We were shown to our suite and I spent the rest of the evening in until supper time.

Sir went out for a while and when he came back in he presented me with a wonderful gift! I now have a second burqa in latex...this one is WHITE! It absolutely glows it is so pretty. It is not that off white color of some latex, but the more recent bluey white shimmering color. It ifts like a dream, being a little extra large to accomodate hoods on my face underneath it. The black one has always been a bit tight over more than one hood.

I was dressed for the evening and we went out on Regent street at dinnertime and wandered a bit. It was chill for Sir, with the wind. He was in a pair of latex slacks, a rubber turtleneck and blazer under a heavy leather trench. I, in my layers of latex, was very warm after the initial tempreature adjustment. Those of you who wear rubber a lot know what I mean...that sudden shift when rubber changes temperature and has to warm back up to body temp.

I was wearing my transparent skinsuit, a corset and a pair of stockings, a black, hooded full enclosure catsuit over that, and a long flowing black dress with built in hood and gloves. Knee boots in black as well. Then the new burqa went on over all that. So I had on 5 layers of rubber in some cases...yes, I was warm.

We hailed a cab and climbed in...it is not easy to get into a London cab gracefully with all the layers and with the retrictive catsuits...but I think I managed. Sir had made reservations at a very elegant restaurant that caters to Saudis in particular. The maitre De didn't bat an eye when a man and his white flowing ghost came wandering in the door.

As I said, the retaurant caters to islamic diners, particularly saudis. This meant that I was able to sit on the floor on a beautiful soft cushion next to him while he ate and no one gave me a second glance...well, at least not a third glance...I think the bright white rubber burqa did catch a few eyes. :)

There was a man sitting with his two wives, both in full muslim cover (niqabs, not burqas). They were also sitting on floor cushions next to him. When he stood up to leave, he gave Sir a smile and bowed slightly. Sir was absolutely thrilled later. He was obviously being complimented on his wife! (At least that's how he took it...I giggled under my hoods).

We cabbed it back to the hotel and went to bed. The next morning (Sat), Sir ordered us breakfast in bed and we just spent the morning goofing around. But about noon, I was dressed again, without the second catsuit and in a dress that has no hood or gloves (had to wear separate ones). I put on the black burqa and we went out shopping along Bond street and Oxford street.

Nothing special happened. The seas of people parted to let us pass, the shopkeepers treated us properly, and we saw several other ladies in full muslim dress up near Marble Arch. We also went round to the V&A and to the National Gallery. idn't buy much...the dollar is so poor right now that it even the cheap stores on Oxford were more expensive than we could warrant after the exchange rate.

We had a moment when one of the staff in the national gallery asked me if there was anything special I wanted to see. It was about to be a bit wierd since I couldn't speak under the latex. But Sir stepped in and answered her for me and all was well. It is still amazing to me how much communication can be acocmplished when you are gagged. Simple gestures and head movements communicate wonderfully. I know Dark has suggested that I am essentially in some sort of isolation now since I never speak to anyone but Sir...but i don't feel isolated. I feel quite connected and able to carry on my life just fine.

We were caught out in a rainstorm Saturday afternoon, but no worries for us. I was about as waterproof as possible and sir was OK...but the wind was terrible. I was very glad that 1) My burqa is closed and over the head and 2) that Sir has a strng grip. I very nearly took flight as we pased some of the cross streets walking down Piccadilly.

saturday evening we went over to the London flat of some friends and had a wonderful dinner. They had not heard of my latest obsession and were quite taken with the idea of me in total bondage and silence wandering the streets of London. I was back in the white burqa for the evening. They are quite a kinky pair in their own right...we sat around, me in silence, of course, and they chatted with Sir. Later, we went into their playroom for a while. It was fun and we got back to the hotel about 3am.

Think I will close here for a while.

UK Adventures...The city of Bath

As promised, here are some details of our travels in the UK.

First, we were in Bath for the week. Sir's meetings took all day there and I was confined to the hotel room. No special reason, just that he felt I should stay in, in some light bondage, and remain covered.

The actual rule was that I was to remain in the hotel room, in full cover, until the maid had come in to clean. After that, I could remove the burqa if I chose, but was to stay dressed as usual. If I chose to leave the room, I was to wear the burqa and stay within the confines of the hotel. he did not want me on the street alone.

The first day I did this, Wednesday (because we arrived Tuesday evening), I am afraid the maid had quite a shock when she entered. I was sitting on the setee with my shroud covering me completely. I was gagged underneath it and could not have spoken to her even if I had been so inclined. When she first saw me, she was startled and I think it took her a few minutes to decide I was 'real'. She told me she was going to clean the room and I just sort of nodded to her to go ahead.

Subsequent days, I had the same maid and she seemed to get used to this black rubber blob sitting on the sofa, comepltely curled up, just waiting for her to make up the room. She said good morning to me each day and finally got to the point where she would give me a 'have anice day' as she left.

I kinow I became the talk of housekeeping because each day it seemed a different pair of maids would wander in to ask if she needed any help...while watching me like hawks.

Each day after she left, I put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door and usually spent the rest of the morning and lunch time reseting, reading, watching TV. I found that I felt more comfortable with the burqa on for a couple of reasons. First, I wanted to be sure and be covered (as I had on some heavyfetish hoods and other gear under the burqa) should someone ignore th eDND sign and second, I just felt more comfortable. It really is getting to be my garment of choice for lounging.

After lunch time, I did go down to the lobby a couple of days and just sat there reading. More to get out of the room than anything else. This, of course, raised eyebrows the first time, but after a while the staff and even the guests seemed to just accpet that there was a black crow reading the newspaper in their lobby

I was not allowed to eat lunch, of course, and had to wait for supper with Sir when he returned each evening. He ordered us a nice breakfast each morning ... on Thursday I had to sign for it ... and I had a bowl of fruti i could nibble on during the day. But i can't eat in public because the rule is that i must be gagged in public...so lunch was make do in the room and wait.

Supper was much the same except he came back to the hotel, we entertained ourselves a bit, and then went out. I always wore something different for dinner...usually a hobble dress or hobble skirt. let me tell you that Bath is NOT the city to walk around in a hobble skirt and heels with limited sight!

Again, I was not able to eat, but I sat on the floor next to him at one place and sat in chairs across from him at the others.

I will continue this in a few hours. They are calling our flight now.

Travels Continued ... Arrival

Just off the plane in London and thought I would report my experiences. writin gthis on a moving train, so it might be a bit poorly spelled. But I am getting more and more used to doing everythng in my gloves now, so maybe not. BTW, the laptop is mine (I've had questions). Sir and I have his and her laptops and, in repsonse to some of the questions I've recieved, he not only allows me to post these missives, he has required me to do so. I am also allowed to IM and email people, but I am not allowed to speak to anyone vocally, in public.

I spent most of the 9 hour flight relaxing and sleeping. After we fot on boardthe plane I was seated in an aisle seat in the center section of two seats in Business Class. Sir was in the set next to me, of course. We had a middle row, Row 4. There was no First class on this flight...just business and coach.

This meant that I was somewhat exposed to people getting on the plane and moving up and down the aisle, but it was not much of a problem. I sat down and fastened my seat belt over the burqa. I had a few odd stares as people boarded seeing a woman compeltely shrouded, reading a novel.

The flight attendant asked if I wanted orange juice or champagne, and I simply shook my head. That was about the extent of my interactions. After we took off, I read for another hour or so, then decided it was time for bed.

It is amazing how much communication with flight attendants is on the order of yes/no queries. Consequently, being a burqa'd woman who does not speak poses little or no problem.

Did I want a hot towel? Shake of the head
Did I want a DVD player? Shake of the head
Did I want dinner? Shake of the head
Did I want breakfast before landing? Shake of the head
Did I want a bottle of water? Nod of the head (so I would have it if I desperately needed to drink)

I think, finally, the flight attnedants got the idea that I was not speaking for some reason and they decided to leave me alone. After a bit more reading, I reclined my seat, raised the footrest, and reached under my burqa and pulled a second thin rubber veil down from where it sits on the inside of the burqa's headpiece. This veil just covers my eyes and prevents me from seeing, but does not interfere with my breathing through the eyescreen.

I drifted off to sleep and Sir indicated that I snored only a little bit for the next few hours.

As we were getting into London, Sir woke me up, I sat up and reached under the burqa nad raised my eye veil. I noticed the woman sitting across from me staring and smiled at her as much as possible, but I don't think she could see through the perforated screen.

What I did notice is that I MUCH prefer flying in a loose skirted dress like I have in the past as compared to the hobble dress I have on now. I was (and currently am) not very comfortable.
The dress is so tight that I cannot move my legs very much and after several hours on the plane, they are a bit sore and stiff.

I was very thirsty and would have liked to swap hoods and taken a drink, but we were close to landing and when I indicated the bottle of water i had acquired at take off, Sir just shook his head and told me i could wait until we were past customs.

We deplaned, attracting some stares from the ground crew and headed for passport control. Sir had filled out our landing cards, but we did not know if I would be required to show my face, so we stopped at a ladies restroom and I removed the gag hood I'd worn all night. The open faced hood was under it. I also took the opportunity to down a LOT of water and to empty my bladder as well. We decided not to try having me catheterized on this trip, so I was ready to pee!

At passport control, we both went to the desk and Sir showed our passports and explained that
I was not allowed to show my face in public. The woman at the desk nodded like she had this happen all the time and signalled another woman to come over. I was led off to a private room, lifted my burqa, and the woman glanced at me and my passport and then let me cover again.

We walked through customs Nothing to Declare without stopping. two agents glanced at us a bit, but there were two other women in black abayas and niqabs going through as well and the customs people seemed much more concerned with the large number of people from Jamaica that had arrived about the same time.

I DID notice the two niqabis looking my way and talking to each other, but they did not approach us.

Sir escorted me to the ladies where I went in and put the hood on with the small mouthhole. then, we went to a restaurant in the airport and had a bite to eat while waiting for our train.

We've had lots of stares on the platforms (we've had to change trains once) but no one has said anyhting. Sir got first class tickets and the conductor took both of them from him and punched them without ever looking directly at me. I think I have become invisible.
we are almost at our destination now and will shortly head for the hotel. I am not overly tired, but would like to get a bit more rest before tomorrow.

So I will close here. Once more, we have demonstrated that you can travel covered completely in latex if you have a mind to...and someone who plans these things out as well as Sir does.

Travel to London..Burqa'd, Bound, and Gagged

Well, here I am sitting in the airport waiting to board a plane to London.
We went to the San Jose airport this morning and I was covered in the usual manner. That is, I was in a full rubber dress (very tight and hobbling today) with an open faced hood on. So my face was uncovered for the first time in over a month.

This morning I put the open faced hood on with a transparent catsuit after my bath. The only difference was that I didn't have a hood on the catsuit and I had the open faced one pulled on my head after my hair was dried.

Then I put the hobble dress on as per Sir's orders. My boots are knee high under it...black rubber and with about 5 inch heels, but that's normal.

The only other undergarment is my usual corset..this time a black one that serves as my bra as well...no stockings or other undergarments.

The catsuit has the usual attached gloves and feet...it is just missing its hood
Over the dress, I pulled on the burqa so that I could show my face for a momnet to the security check point woman at SJC.

We got to the airport two hours early and Sir checked us in. The airline peple escorted me into a little room and I showed my face to her for just a moment. she checked it against my passport photo and smiled and nodded. hse didn't mention the fact that the open faced hood was rubber.
It wasn't the same woman as before, but she was quite friendly. She escorted me through the security line and Sir met me just before we had to be checked through the metal detectors.
Some of the TSA people must have been the same as when I flew to San Diego because one of them smiled and said, "Good to see you again". Of course that was just before she also told me I had been selected for additional screening.

They did make me take off my boots, but no one seemed put off by the fact that I was in latex stockings (as far as they knew) underneath. They wanded me, but did not go through any hand luggage because Sir had all of it and they didn't do any extra check on him!

I had to show my boarding pass twice, of course, but again, no one asked for my ID again.
We went straight to the Airline lounge, then I went to the ladies room and took the burqa off for a moment to put on a full face hood over the open faced one. This one had no mouth, so I was gagged the whole flight from SJC to DFW. You can't imagine the sensations of getting on an airplane, covered in multiple layers of latex, gagged and hooded, booted and gloved, and then settling into my window seat in First Class and just shivering with both fear and excitement. It is a recipe for arousal if there ever was one :)

I was not served lunch, of course, and the flight was uneventful. I think the flight attendant was a bit surprised when I pulled out a Patricia Cornwell murder mystery to read, but everyone maintained their professional demeanor.

Now we have landed in Dallas and are waiting in the airline lounge until our flight to London boards. We have a long layover here, so Sir has allowed me to change the gagging mask for one with a very small mouth hole so we can have dinner. I really couldn't talk in this hood either, even if I wanted to, so I remain, for all intents and purposes, gagged.

My dinner, as usual, was liquid. He ate a steak dinner while I had a milkshake and a can of Ensure, which I drank with a straw while holding it up under my Burqa. He ordered the shake for me and was carrying the bottle of liquid nutrient solution (which is quite tasty, actually) in his carryon.

After dinner, we returned to the lounge and I changed the mouthhole hood for the mouthless hood again (I am amazed that these hoods Sir carries in his hand luggage are not subject for query by security...but he says he just wads them up so they don't look like a mask or hood on the X-Ray.

Now I am ready to board the plane. I presume I will not be allowed to eat or drink on the flight...10 hours...but it is OK...I am used to long periods of gagging and lack of liquid. Sir says that If I become very distressed he will let me switch to the other mask to drink something, but I don't think I'll need it.

Actually, it's an overnight flight and I plan on pulling the inside veil in my burqa over my eyes as soon as we board and just sleeping the whole flight. I find this ability to blindfold myself and to just drift away into my own little rubber world so relaxing that I doubt I will be aware of anything during our flight.

I wonder what London Customs will do with me? We always go thru nothing to declare, so I am hoping to have no problems.

Regards
Lady.

One Month of Living in latex

Today marks one complete month that I have been covered in latex 24/7.

So far, so good. The rash has not returned and I am still quite comfortable in following the protocol sir has laid out. he returned a few days ago from his trip and I was happy to report that I had no problems other than the minor issue of the rash on my back.

I now venture out in public anytime I feel a need to and no longer worry how people will view me in my ruber burqa. I have not had any negative experiences.

But this month promises to be a bit of a trial. My parents are coming to visit and I will have to deal with their reactions to this new lifestyle. THAT should be interesting. as I've said before, they know I wear rubber street wear and have seen me in a variety of rubber clothes...but not in a full enclosure skin suit and not in a rubber burqa.

Nothing more to report currently. Life and latex continue as usual. Sir has begun talking about gagging me for an entire month, but I THINK he's just joking ... :)

Rash Actions

Week 4, Fully Enclosed since Jan 1.

Well, it had to happen sometime, I suppose.

Woke up yesterday morning with an irritating rash on my back under my latex suit. My back felt like I was suffering from what we in the south call 'prickly heat' and it was a bit red and somewhat dry and scaly looking. Oddly enough, the most dramatic redness followed the zipper line, with a bit of a spread out around it in a vertical stripe.

I went through my usual morning ablutions and paid more than usual attention to putting on lotion and making sure it was dry back there. After my usual bath, I was put back into a suit and I did not notice any more discomfort.

However, when I was getting ready for bed, maid told me the redness was still there. I discussed it with Sir when he called (he is out of town this week) and his instructions were to expose the area to air, leaving the back of the suit open and not wearing anything over it. To use a medicated lotion on it, and to not reseal it if the redness continued. As well, I am to remove all latex immediately if any other areas turn red.

So far, however, this morning, I am fine everywhere else and the redness is all but gone and there is no prickling sensation. But I have been padding around the house now for almost 48 hours with nothing on but a transparent enclosure suit that isn't zipped up in the back.

As I said in an earlier post, we've decided "in for a penney, in for a pound!" So I will not bail on this experiment unless I have to. Suit open down the back to let the skin rest seems a good compromise and I am hoping nothing more shows up as a rash. My face, my SECOND most sensitive skin area, seems in good shape. It looks fine and does not itch or burn. In fact, I hardly notice the thin latex on it anymore.

Chest, breast, stomach area is good. I pay special attenttion to my nether regions as this is the MOST sensitive area, but I'm not having problems there.

Legs and arms are fine and my hands and feet are comfortable. Again, I am almost unaware of the rubber on my hands now unless I concentrate on the lack of sensation, the distiancing of sensation when i touch things. It's good as long as I avoid the whole COOKING thing :)

So, this may have just been that we missed my back somehow, or that I'm reacting to the zipper or something.

Nonetheless, it's almost gone and I expect tomoorrow I will be once again fully enclosed as I should be.

Sir returns on Wed evening and I am to meet him at the airport. Once more into the burqa!

regards
Lady

BTW, everyone reading this blog has been incredibly supportive and I am so happy to hear that I am inspiring a few others to step out in their latex. I am firmly convinced that, over time, our 'fetish' will become an accepted mode of clothing (well, maybe not the hoods and gags) and we have a good chance of bringing back a formality and style to dressing in public that has, sadly, been lacking for decades (Women should ALWAYS wear gloves in public, I am convinced...the way they did in the fifties...we can get back there, I know it!).

Viva La Gummi! (If you don't mind me butchering three languages simultaneously :) )

Cooking in Rubber

OK, so one probably should be careful about cooking when encased in two catsuits, two hoods, two pairs of gloves, and a rubber dress. But it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Usually, I do not cook. Maid cooks...she cooks well and she cooks in rubber (and sometimes, I think, WITH rubber as a spice). But Sir is away on business and last night when it came time to cook some dinner maid was...uh...tied up with other matters.

I decided I would cook dinner for the two of us. I decided I would cook something we hadn't had in a while here in California...Chicken Fried Steak.

For those of you who do not know southwestern cuisine, I should explain that Chicken Fried Steak also goes by the name Wiener Schnitzel or Veal Cutlet. Except we do not use veal, we use aged beef cut in what are called cubed steaks. So it is thin, boneless steaks battered and fried in the manner one does Southern Fried Chicken.

Chicken Fried Steak (CFS) is a southern delicacy cooked in a skillet with a fair amount of hot oil, lots of flour, egg, milk, and a batter made up from biscuit mix. It is inherently a bit messy, but the final product, served with vegetables, is delicious, nutricious, and a total cardiac nightmare.

There is a protocol associated with it...for instance, the BEST batter cooks up LARGER than the steak it encases, leading to large chunks of fried bread like material which is delicious on its own. Sir even tells the story of getting his CFS one time as a child and discovering it had no meat inside. One flours the steak, then dips it in the egg/milk mix, then batters it, then fries it in an almost assembly line fashion.

This is all done by hand and if done well you will have battered fingers before you're finished. I did say it was messy, didn't I? No sanitation here, either...this is hands on cooking...so I thought rubber gloves would be a GOOD idea. Maid does this from time to time for us and she never has a problem.

Well last night I laid everything out carefully, mixed my egg and milk to a good gooey consistency, made sure I had fresh steaks, enough flour and then mixed up the batter...we use bisquick prepared mix and add salt, pepper, and paprika.

The first of the two steaks went swimmingly. I floured it well, then dipped that in the egg/milk mixture to lock the flour on and to give the batter something to cling to. Then I rubbed it around in the batter and made sure I had a LOT of batter on it. This is important.

Next, I used a fork to gently lay it in the skillet with the oil already heated. It immediately began to bubble and froth as it is supposed to.

Now the race begins. You have to get the next steak ready while the first one cooks. You have to do it fast so you put it in the skillet just as the first one is ready to be turned over...and you have to be careful because the oil is boiling hot.

I reached out for the second steak with my already messy rubbered left hand, picked it up, swung it over to the plate where my flour was waiting...and promptly dropped it from about two feet up directly into the flour!

did you know flour can explode when disturbed? White flour went everywhere! There was a puff, and I was covered from the crown of my hood to my black rubber toes in flour!

I sputterd and coughed a bit as I inhaled flour (no gas mask on unfortunately, but I was wearing a gag) and blinked flour out of my eyes. What to do?

First rule of cooking...if something happens, turn off the fire! So I started to move the skillet to a cool burner first. But my hands were dangerously slippery...and the steak was cooking fast.

Grab towel (can't get rubber gloved hands into oven mit) ... grab skillet handle ... thank god Sir got the big skillet with the long handle...then move skillet.

Then I washed my hands, and looked down at myself. I was an absolute rubber mess...flour everywhere and a few blobs of eggy batter as well had fallen off my fingers onto my dress...at an embarrasing place, I might add.

I washed my hands, finished carefully battering the second steak, but had to turn the first one over (still cooking in hot oil, if not getting any hotter), then finally got the second one into the skillet.

A few minutes later, I put the skillet back on the burner, got both steaks done (the first one was a bit darker on one side than it should have been) and I dished out dinner. But the best was yet to come. I went to get maid...untie her and bring her to dinner...this was to be her night off...she didn't have to serve me or anything...I HAD been feeling generous.

She was not gagged or blindfolded, just covered in latex and restrained. When I walked into the room to untie her, her eyes bugged out and she began laughing. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror in the room and I couldn't believe it. I was still covered in fine white flour that contrasted immensely with my black rubber dress. My hood was smudged, my dress was powdery, and my hands had become messy again with flour and bits of batter that had not washed off. I was by no means ready to sit down to a nice dinner.

At first I was angry with her, but when I looked again, I coouldn't help it. I started to laugh as well. I don't know if you have ever laughed uncontrollably while hooded and gagged, but it is not pretty. Before it was all over, I was trying to untie maid while needing to blow my nose and still giggling inside the hood behind the gag.

Well, she cleaned me up...spraying me all over in the shower and drying me off. Dinner was a bit cold, but she very nicely warmed it up for us and we actually had an enjoyable evening. However, I felt it was my responsibilitiy to clean the kitchen...she was all tied up with other things shortly after dinner anyway. :) And I got a bit of my own back when restraining her the second time.

But I think I'll leave CFS to her in the future...when I'm feeling generous again, she'll likely get a slice of cold ham for dinner...something safe!

BTW...I will post again soon to answer the questions in the comments to my last post. I had no idea this experiment would generate so many queries...but hang on...I'll get to them ASAP!

Answers to Sealed's Queries

I thought I would answer Sealed's last comment in a new Post as I did with some of Dark's earlier because the commenting thread was becoming too long for casual readers to get into.

First, let me say it is 11AM here and I am in the house as usual. I am dressed in a long black dress with fitted waist and full skirt, high collar and long sleeves. Under that I have on my corset and black knee high rubber boots with 5 inch heels. Under THAT, I am wearing a light grey tinted transparent full enclosure suit. For those who want to know, yes, I am catheterized and lightly plugged in both front and rear. The cath is clamped and not connected to a bag. Yesterday was a bit of an intense day of bondage, but today Sir has given me complete freedom of movement.

Sealed's last set of queries was:
Your right to call it 24/7 – thank you for explaining your protocol in detail. It really gives me an insight. I hope everyone who visits your blog reads the comments as well as the main blog, as it helps to get the picture of how thoroughly thought out your lifestyle is I can so easily appreciate the idea of never being able to see yourself without latex or touch anything but rubber. 24/7. From my point of view it’s not so much obsessive as dedicated and inspired! More a latex devotion than mania?Do you (or Sir) think of it as a sort mind game? Is the point to think of yourself only in terms of the shiny latex object you see in the mirror? Or, is the idea to separate you from the real world – a world less perfect than the latex world inside your suit? Is it a control thing – you do it only because Sir says so? Maybe it none of these things, or all of them – or maybe it’s not something it pays to spend too much time defining? It seems that so far you have not had as much difficulty with the lifestyle as many would have expected. Has it all been plain sailing because of your preparation / training, or are there times that you ever get desperate to just rip it all off? How do you work through these times? Do you get locked into the rubber or is it all self control?Do you have a set amount of time for your current 24/7 experiment and do you think you are going to make it? Do you know of any others attempting such a 24/7 lifestyle or are you unique?

Sealed is correct. I like to think I am more devoted to this rubber lifestyle than I am obsessed by it. In fact, as time goes on, I am forgetting that rubber is involved, in a sense. For example, I had to run out to the store this morning. After I dressed, I went downstairs, put on a pair of gloves and a gag and then threw my Burqa over my head and walked down to the store. I was literally half a block away before it struck me that I had put on gloves and gag the way other women put on gloves and hat. I honestly did not even think about how I would look in the burqa, how many people would stare at me or any of those things. This is normality now and I realized it suddenly.

The analogy I make is to moving not a new house. It is not 'home' at first. Everyday, when you get up, it seems unfamiliar, yours, but not 'HOME'. Then, suddenly, one morning it is HOME. The rubber lifestyle has assumed the same dimensions, I think. At first I was very sensitive to the fact that I could feel my suit resisting slightly when I moved, hugging me as I sat. Of course I've been wearing some rubber everyday for years, but I WAS very sensitive to the full enclosure and the fact I was gagged and out in public.

Suddenly today, I was HOME in it.

It IS a mind game, but one I play with myself as well as with Sir. I DO want to be separated from the outside world and I don't want it to intrude through my latex barrier. I am not a hypochondriac nor do I suffer from OCD, but being completely sealed makes me feel protected and at the same time, packaged...That I am an object for his use. This is, of course, the goal we've worked on for years and THAT is a apart of my D/s personality. I think in that case the latex is a means to an end. But the rubber encasement has become an end in itself as well. A way for me to be secure in a chaotic world. This also feeds into my desire to lose my ego, my humanity. I manipulate thigns, but I do not touch them. I am forever separated from the world of sensation, all sensation mediated by a layer of latex.

We went through a LOT of preparing and planning. Sir lays out these protocols to me in great detail (sometimes with drawings and such). He is meticulous because he wants to understand all the possible failure points in plan. and he wants me to understand his desires fully. This is DANGEROUS. If he doesn't plan everything right than a scenario could go badly or I could even be injured. So detail is part of the process. But, as I become more and more used to following the protocol, I become more and more secure in it and it becomes second nature. I suspect astronauts feel the same way...There is so much practice and preparation that when the real thing occurs, you don't worry about failure, you trust the protocol. Of course we all follow scripts through our day to day lives...Mine just involve total rubber enclosure now.

I AM locked into my clothes sometimes. Usually that is done with a collar and a belt of some sort as my dresses and enclosure suits are too thin to support any kind of solid hasp. And that would be prohibitively expensive to have locking and non-locking versions. Mostly, though, it is self control. Early on there were times when I just wanted to rip it all off, particularly back in Texas where it got too hot. I worked my way through those with his support and by concentrating on my desire to fulfill his requests.

Since coming here, I have not had those sensations and indeed, after particularly intense physical activity I tend to want to curl up in another layer of latex...A rubber sheet or comforter or my kimono or a robe...Just to let the sensation of my rubber skin being touched by Sir settle into normalcy again. Imagine post coital sensitivity...You are just too sensitive to be touched by your lover again for a few minutes...Now imagine that you are like that and yet you ARE being touched all over your body by thousands of hands. The only solution is the weight and feel of something soft and loose and comforting.

We have no set time limit on this experiment. I know he wants me to be like this for at least a year if I can tolerate it. Right now, it is becoming so normal that I see no problem with that. One issue would be if we had to move somewhere else where the weather was not as conducive to total enclosure. But we will swim that Tiber when we come t it.

I believe that there are some people in Germany who have tried the same fulltime lifestyle. Lioba and her Puppe, but I don't know if that is as real. We have never paid for access to the inner workings of her site. I would not be surprised if some Austrian rubberists are involved in deep immersion lifestyles. The Austrian fetishists I have met are serious and dedicated to their fetishes.

People are strange. All people. And I would not be surprised to hear of others, to find that there is a quiet underground of people attempting to alter their lifestyles in this manner. We see people doing it in the form of body modification, religious conversion, and other extremes of identification. It seems that in a world where we are told we are being homogenized into oblivion, people seek to establish identity in more and more extreme manners. This is probably normal.

I think it's a good thing.
