Still August, How I Spent My Summer

Just a quick post to let everyone know that I have spent quite a lot of time the past few weeks catching up on a lot of writing I have been intending to finish for some time. That not only includes another post to this blog, but also parts 2 and 3 of a story I am writing.

I had uploaded part 1 of my story, Entering Rubber Society to the yahoo group 'confining clothing' (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/confiningclothing/) in the files section. I recently uploaded part 2, only 18 months separating the two.

In an effort to be somewhat more frequent, and to exploit my sudden urge to write instead of read over the hot summer, I have nearly finished part 3 and shall upload it hopefully later today.

In other news, one of our cats has damaged his knee (stifle) and will undergo surgery to repair it. The recovery, I understand, will be long and involved, but it should restore him to full mobility. Exactly how a young cat did so much damage to his 'stifle' I do not know, but we've seen three vets now and they all agree that he will have to drop any future plans for playing in the NFL.

Fortunately, as we have spent a few weeks seeing if it will heal itself and taking him for consults, he does not seem to be in too much pain, but is obviously in some discomfort. I hope the rather elaborate surgery they are proposing fixes it so that he can resume his life as a comfortable and fattening old cat! He is a dear and his companion has been very solicitous of him since he began limping. She even backs off and waits for him to finish eating before she does which is most unusual.

Visiting vets in a latex burqa (white once, black once, and blue the third time) was, as one might expect, an interesting experience. Sir accompanied me and did all the talking, of course, so there was little to do but watch and occasionally hold the cat. He is most comfortable with latex now although I recall when we first acquired him he was confused by it and tried to bite my sleeve a few times. It seems he enjoyed cutting his teeth on squishy latex when he was a kitten.

The other patients in the clinic stared but said nothing and I must say all the staff we encountered were very professional and seemed unfazed by having a woman fully veiled with an injured pet in their examination rooms. One young girl acting as a receptionist seemed to have a sudden total loss of concentration, focus, and memory for her duties, but did finally manage to get the information Sir gave her entered into the record.

Temperature wise, things have cooled for a bit here in North Texas. We even had several bouts of torrential rain which was both good and damaging to my garden. Some of my standing plants were toppled, but everything sprang up after a few good soakings and it is amazing to see actual mud in the garden once again. I was, thankfully, able to go out a couple days ago and repair the damage, working for ten or fifteen minutes beneath the cool mister that hangs over the garden space.

Due to the heat, even in our somewhat over air conditioned home, Sir has not required me to wear the usual skinsuit under a dress and/or other layers for the past few weeks. Although the temperature in the house has been low enough to make latex tolerable, the humidity has still been excessive. So for a few weeks I have only worn a loose dress around the house and occasional gloves and a hood in the evenings. But this past week I have been able to return a few times to my usual total enclosure skinsuit, with a second hood gloves and dress. I have even been able to wear my corset and a neck corset.

Sir has remained in his usual latex slacks and shirt mostly, but did for a while replace trousers with shorts. However, he was able to don a full enclosure suit and gas mask the other night. We enjoyed quite a lovely evening, our first in total rubber for some time.

We've essentially stopped going out for a while. It is so hot that there is little impetus to do so. There have been no particular events we wished to attend and, accept for trips to the vet, no reason to venture forth. he even cut a few days from commuting to the office and worked from home when it reached into the 90's before 8 am.

Our swimming pool reported a temperature of 100 degrees a couple of days. So hot that swimming would not have been refreshing and actually, given our penchant for total rubberisation when swimming, could have been dangerous. So we have not even had that for an outlet.

But at last we have had a break and things might get back to normal. I am looking forward to our anniversary and then to labor day. Hopefully we will have good weather for both.

Glad to hear you have finally been able to return to TE after such a long stretch. You must have missed full enclosure terribly. In such situations does the return bring heightened responses?

I took the opportunity to read your story in the confining clothing group and very much enjoyed it. Apart from the entertaining story line your writing is wonderful and your grammar impeccable. A joy to experience in this day and age. I look forward to the next installment with joyous anticipation. Best wishes to your cat for a speedy recovery.

Hi latex lady ,
I am a huge fan of the site and a dedicated person to shiny clothing like u.... Was wondering if u have ever gone outdoors in full coverage catsuit and wondering what ur experiences were? And also.... Did u do that a lot before u got into burqas? What was the transition into burqas about and how did it make u feel?

All the best Lady

You're one of the most interesting people on the planet. My question is: Why don't you have a book and/or documentary series? :P

I just read Part I with great interest, you are an excellent writer! But when I went to read Part II, it says "file not found" no matter what. Perhaps it can be re- uploaded? Thanks so much.

@ Anonymous: re "file not found". I'm guessing you took timer to read the first pdf, then returned to the folder using your "back" button in your browser? That got me the same "file not found" error when I clicked on the link to the next pdf. I found that if I hit the "refresh" button in my browser to reload the page, then the link will work. I have found this with a number of folders on the Confining Clothing "Files" section. It might be something to do with a timeout in the Yahoo Groups website. HTH.

Thanks for posting part 3!

Wonderful story. Is the idea of removing arms permanently a fantasy of yours, or was it just an inspired idea?

Keep the story and your amazing blog coming.

Thank you for part four. I am enjoying the detail and the unhurried pace of your writing, which thoroughly immerses the reader while guiding one gently along. Rather like a scenic riverboat cruise through a welcoming landscape of kink.

12Another fan of "Entering Rubber Society"..; Well documented on total enclosure by an artist in this field, imaginative and well written, it is one of the most exciting story I ever read. You show a tremendous talent. Congratulations and surprise us again by the sequel of the transformation of Katherine. I bet it will be exciting ! Moreover, we are all going to dream to enter in such a world where we would be able to fulfill our needs !

Hey my names rachel I'm 16 and I'm changing my lifestyle to a latex centric lifestyle where I will be wearing nothing but latex 24/7 having a bald head and wearing masks to cover my face and I will be storing my old clothes away somewhere and only wear formal shoes like boots heels pumps and latex hosiery and underwear I'm making the switch in a week and I really need some advice before I start my new life

Thank you all for the kind comments.

As you know, my story has made it to part 8 now ,,,much more to come, but it is feeling good to be working on it again.

Now, to the anonymous commenter who claims to be a 16 year old girl named Rachel. If you are such, then you must have access to a lot of money, be the daughter of fantastically understanding parents, and ... oh yes ... be not at all adult enough to be making such decisions.

Good luck to you ... please start a blog and tell us all of your adventures.
